(More customer reviews)I was so excited to get the motor to add to my strainer, so I could make lots of applesauce without getting completely worn out physically from having to churn that crank by hand. At first it worked great, but less than halfway into my first bushel of apples it stopped working. We took it all apart, put it back together, and it still didn't work. I finally realized that the movable arm that holds the motor against the spring assembly wasn't strong enough. If I pushed the motor against the spring, it would work and turn the coil, but if I let go, it didn't work. We finally rigged up a complex bungee cord arrangement that holds the motor in place, and it's working great now. But it sure seems like the design needs some improvement.
