(More customer reviews)I've been welding at work now for the past ten yrs and wanted a nice welder for at home. After looking at the rest - Hobart, Milliermatic, and Lincoln this one looked liked it would be the best and had the best price as well. I bought a refurbished one and kept my fingers crossed. I did get one that was scratched up a little bit but this is normal for previously used equipment. Overall the unit looked very good. Most importantly after hooking everything up and testing it on some 3/16" thick mild steel it worked beautifully. I don't bother with flux wire but use gas which is the way to go unless your outside. For a home welder and light commercial I'd highly recommend this welder.
