(More customer reviews)I was originally looking at several other brands, but settled on this Swisher. Couldn't believe the shipping weight (430 lbs) - after all, it's just a wagon with a lawn mower engine on it, right? Turns out this thing is made of much, much heavier steel than your big-box version, and the impeller on the vacuum motor is made of the heaviest steel I've seen short of one of those big commercial chipper/vacuums! The quality of this piece of equipment is extremely good, and the engine started on the first pull after adding oil and gas. After assembling it comes trying to hook it to your mower though. The instructions really need some help in this part, and there's no appropriate sized attaching hardware like round head screws (just largish nuts & carriage bolts that didn't help). I've a lot of saved hardware so I was able to scrounge what I needed. Then I found that there wasn't a draw bar pin! Kind of irritating. I'll add more after I've used it a few times.
Just finished trying it out for a bit and had the cut off safety switch bump off (monitors the vertical pipe out of the impeller - and is NOT ANYWHERE in the manual save the parts breakdown). Adjusted it some and think it'll behave.
