(More customer reviews)This thing is AWESOME!!! Granted, this is the first one of these that I have owned, but compared to the twisty hand kind, this is like dying and going to heaven. The feel is very solid and heavy, and the motor mechanism is not too loud, nor does it bog down under a "full load" of pepper, if there is such a thing.
The thing that impresses me the most about this unit is the quality of the grind: very precise, even, and uniform. I am used to my pepper mill letting all different sizes through at once, and having chunks of pepper get stuck in my teeth, while much of the rest is quite powdery. Such is NOT the case with this unit: it cuts the pepper VERY uniformly.
