The grilling surface, while not huge, is quite large enough for a couple of good-sized steaks or several hamburgers or chicken pieces. It heats up quickly and cooks evenly and efficiently and I've found clean-up to be a breeze. At first I dismissed the little plastic spatulas as silly and useless but I found that they're the perfect size and shape for gently scraping the plates to loosen any food residue before swiping them with a damp paper towel or sponge.
This is one product that works as advertised and I highly recommend it.
