(More customer reviews)I have a couple 1-liter glass boots and purchased this 3-liter version as a Christmas gift. Both of my 1-liter boots are made of thick, heavy glass that can be slammed into brick walls without any fear of breakage. They are tanks. I was very disappointed when this boot arrived in the mail. At first, I refused to beleive that the package was actually the 3-liter boot that I had ordered because the box was so damn light (Lighter than my 1-liter boots). Then I began to doubt myself and was afraid that maybe I had ordered a PLASTIC boot... Unfortunately the boot is made a VERY thin glass. Thin enough to the point that I was concerned about it shattering in my hands. The seams (which I assumed would not exist since it was advertised as "mouth blown") ran down the sides of the boot as opposed to front and back. This is a giant, fragile peice of glass that holds about nine beers. The "foot" portion of the boot is ludicrously small compared to the upper and is extremely top-heavy and unstable when filled. Overall, this is just a recipe for disaster.
