(More customer reviews)We have been using cloth napkins for many years, so I have tried dozens of different napkins. Some are attractive, but for looks only. These are excellent. Large, square, soft, absorbent, keep their shape after washing, seem to be fairly stain resistant, easy to fold into formal arrangements, attractive hemstitch, just as nice for everyday use. At under $20, they are a very good bargain for high quality. I am tempted to stock up on them in case i can't find them in the future.

Hemstitch Dinner Napkins Lime Green 1 Dozen Review

(More customer reviews)I received the napkins very quickly, the fabric is nicely textured but not rough, and work well. They shrank half an inch in the wash (warm cycle) which I expected of cotton. The vibrancy of the green faded a VERY minor bit (as in just noticeable if you hold it up to an unwashed one) but they started as bright as the picture so that's OK by me - still a beautiful green.
They would need to be ironed for guests, but slightly wrinkly is good enough for my personal use.
The stitching around the hemstitch borders is a bit messy with excess thread in at least a place or two on most of them which is the only reason I did not give them 5 stars. If I was trying to impress company I would not want poorly stitched napkin borders at the dinner table. Always the possibility that after more washes it would become a problem, will update review if this ever happens. Overall I am still pretty happy with my first cloth napkin purchase. I am likely to order a more sedate color soon to add to these at a later date.

This seller has an unbeatable selection - I never would have found what I wanted locally. I'd order from here again, and am telling all my friends!

Hemstitch Dinner Napkins Champagne 1 Dozen Review

(More customer reviews)When these arrived I found they were actually quite a bit more yellow than I wanted but, they are such nice fabric I kept them anyway. I would probably describe the colour more as a 'rich butter' than a champagne.
The stitching is very nice, it is the same colour as the fabric. There are little 'holes' that the stitching surrounds which makes it very beautiful. The fabric is cotton with the feel of linen and a little stiffness that gives it weight. The only downside of the fabric is, that hair/fur clings to it like cotton.
These wash and dry but, be prepared to iron them or have wrinkles even if you take them out right away. Don't use chlorine bleach.
