Whirlpool WTW7300XW 27 5 cu. Ft Top-Load Washer - White Review

(More customer reviews)They look great but after that I don't have much good to say about them... My 20 year old whirlpool did a better job with the washing. ( our dryer died after 20 years and the wife decided we "must" have a matching set). I like the dryer but as good as the dryer is it cannot get the wrinkles the washer makes come out out!
It seems the washer twists and bunches the clothes so tightly ( no matter what setting, water temp, etc. ) that EVERYTHING must be ironed before wearing them. All my dress, work shirts and pants that are " wrinkle free " come out of the dryer a wrinkled mess.
I wish I could give it less than 1 star. The only good thing is I won't have to move them if my wife wants them in the divorce...

(More customer reviews)I was going to buy a cheap standard washing machine because I dont like some of the HE top loaders. They dont all wash well or fill with enough water. I was concerned, however, with how cheap many of the standard old school washers are made these days. They dont even offer long term warranties on the motor. So after reading so many positive reviews for this LG top loader I gave it a try. I'm glad I did. This thing is awesome. Its efficient but washes clothes well. It has many options including an option to include more water in the wash. Not as efficient but you have the choice! You can pause the wash to add more clothes unlike other HE top loaders. Also this thing has huge capacity for clothes. You'll never have issues with an overstuffed washing machine (well within reason). The tub on this thing is huge and all stainless steel. It cleans really well, oh and a 10 year warranty on the great direct drive motor. The Bravos and GE Harmony were nice as well but they didnt have some of the options I wanted which the LG had. In fact I think LG made or designed the Harmony for GE? I know they make many of the Kenmore's

IS IT A WASHER? OR SOMETHING BETTER? Just because a washer is tough on dirt and stains doesn't mean it needs to be tougher on your clothes. In this case, it's even more gentle. Loaded with some hard-hitting innovations like deep cleaning WaveForce technology and ColdWash option, it's gentler on your fabrics. The hottest thing in cold clean Now using the cold cycle on your washer doesn't mean compromising how clean your clothes are. ColdWash Technology uses cold water and enhanced washing motions to penetrate deep into fabrics, giving you the cleaning performance of warm water with the energy savings of cold water. Smarter in many ways Saving water doesn't mean compromising cleaning power. At least not when you have the SmartRinse Jet Spray System. It provides better rinsing performance while making more efficient use of water at the same time. 5.2 cu. ft. Ultra Large Capacity Towers of towels, piles of sweatshirts, and a mountain of jeans? Go for it. The Ultra-Capacity (5.2 cu. ft.) washer lets you do more laundry in fewer loads. That's time saved and sore backs avoided. Count on it When you buy a washer, you don't want to worry that it won't last. Because the Direct Drive Motor uses fewer moving parts and operates more efficiently, LG confidently backs the motor with a 10-year warranty. Catch the wave If you thought water had done all it could to clean your clothes, you haven't experienced WaveForce technology. Rapid drum movement and powerful water jets provide outstanding washing and rinsing performance, while staying gentle on clothes. No rude awakenings No need to announce to the whole house when one load has come out and another has gone in. The SlamProof Lid is safe, convenient and noise-reducing. Super clean Some stains are so nasty it's hard to imagine how they'll ever come out. LG's NSF-certified Sanitary Cycle heats water up to 158°F to remove the toughe...

(More customer reviews)This appears to be the most expensive top loader. We got it because it handles huge huge amounts of laundry and it fits into our small laundry area (unlike the side loaders). Our first one had a lot of problems from day one. Loud squeaks, and a finger print INSIDE of the "minutes left" display. On a brand new high end machine that is really unacceptable (they came out 4 times to fix the loud squeak but never could). I did not buy this on Amazon I got mine at a local place and I kept calling and bugging the manager until he gave in and switched out my lemon for a good one. Ask yourself the question "will the place I am buying this from REPLACE it if I get a lemon" because our lemon could not be fixed, it had to be replaced. Once we got a good one it turned out to be just an amazing machine, very low energy use and thoroughly cleans huge amounts of laundry. Also very quiet (once we got a machine without a squeak).
