(More customer reviews)This has become one of the heavily used items in my kitchen. I love poached eggs, and this cooker provides perfect ones in a very easy routine. The key is to follow the instructions (very easy) correctly, i.e. use the right amounts of water with the measuring cup and let your eggs warm up to room temperature before you poach. The cooker has been reliable and easy to clean as well. I love this gadget!

A foolproof way to cook eggs, this 400-watt egg-shaped appliance comes with a tray that will hold up to four hard- or soft-boiled eggs, plus a second tray for poaching up to three eggs at a time. Use the included measuring cup to add a precise amount of water to the base--all the needed measurement markings are provided on the side of the see-through cup. Then turn the toggle switch to the "on" position to start cooking. The egg cooker boils and steams away all the water, then shuts off automatically, buzzing an alarm to indicate the eggs are ready. The concept's quite simple--more water means more cooking time; less water means less cooking time. Use the portable appliance for quick, healthy breakfasts before work in the morning, or take it with when on the road for breakfasts that consist of something more substantial than hotel doughnuts. (More customer reviews)I know this is a silly looking gadget but I LOVE IT and you will, too!! I love to cook and entertain but I have always hated boiling and peeling eggs. I have tried everything to get the 'perfect' boiled egg...start them off in cold water with a little vinegar, boil 15 minutes, into the ice water, blah, blah, blah...still, even when they're boiled perfectly, half the time I can't get them peeled without tearing them up. However, my kids LOVE deviled eggs so when I saw the Egg Genie, I decided to give it a try. I can't believe how much I love it!! Not only are the eggs cooked exactly the way you want them every single time (whether soft, medium or hard boiled), they are also EASY TO PEEL!! I have never had a single one tear up. They just slide right out of the shell with absolutely no fuss. Now I don't mind making deviled eggs! I keep a half dozen boiled eggs in a baggie in the fridge and they're great to throw into salads or to grab for a low-carb snack. My sister has fallen in love with mine and wants one, too, so I came online to find one for her and decided to leave a review while I was on here. Two thumbs up from this girl!! :-)

Sushi mold / Musubi Maker Review

(More customer reviews)I don't know why people advertise these molds as a sushi maker, since any person who actually knows how to make sushi would use their hands, finger molds, or bamboo rolling mats to shape the rice. Real sushi makers would not be caught dead with plastic molds, period.
This mold is meant and designed for making ONIGIRI, NOT SUSHI. It even says that on the packaging, so I don't know why there is so much confusion over this appliance.
That being said, I love this tool. I know how to make onigiri by hand, but this does yield cleaner and nicer looking results. It's very easy to get the onigiri out, too. If you want cuter designs, then I recommend buying flower and heart shapes too.
