Spellbinders Embossing Pads 2/Pkg W023; 2 Items/Order Review

(More customer reviews)In order to emboss paper, using the Spellbinders Shapeabilities dies in my Cuttlebug V2 Embossing & Die Cutting Machine, I had to buy a package of these embossing pads.
Basically, one of the pads is inserted above the die and paper in the Cuttlebug machine after the cutting step but prior to the embossing step.
The pad works as advertised, but I thought this item was a bit expensive for what is basically two 5"x7" pieces of soft rubber.

(More customer reviews)I bought this for my classroom to hang up pocket charts and it worked great. I cut the sheet in half and the magnet is strong enough to support a pocket chart that I use to hold worksheets and writing paper.
I just wish it was more affordable and I could get more than one sheet in a packet.

You can only gut the letters-there aren't choice for just the cute icons. Only a few letters can be cut and used just as snowman-and there are 4 snowflakes (letter O) Really wish I wouldn't have paid for this one.

Cricut Printing 101 Cartridge Review

(More customer reviews)I've been cutting the letters onto foam - as puzzle pieces, SO GREAT!!
I'm going through the alphabet in lower and upper case. The puzzle will allow the letters to connect to each other to form "words" and teach my kids the alphabet and to spell real words.
It also looks really cool connected to each other.
The function of "instruction" will teach them the process of writing the words. Tag features are nice too to make "book marks" or gift tags.
Only thing I'm trying to figure out it how to rotate the letters.

Pazzles Inspiration Cutting Mat, 12-Inch-by-12-Inch, 2-Pack Review

(More customer reviews)I've used both a Cricut cutter and the Pazzles Inspiration Electronic Cutter, and the Pazzles Inspiration wins, hands down. You don't have to buy expensive cartridges with the Inspiration, and the software is far superior.
The only drawback I've discovered so far is that the Inspiration cutting mats are slightly more expensive. I think the extra few dollars are worth paying--however, I'm tempted to purchase a Cricut mat just to see if it works in the Inspiration. Essentially they're both 12"x12" mats, coated with a sticky surface film.
When I first got my Inspiration, I set the cutting blade too deep for card stock and ended up scarring the mat, but I was still able to use it.
The Inspiration users' manual suggests using a lint roller to clean the mat, and this really works! When new, the mat is very, very sticky so you really have to know how to clean it, and also how to pry delicate cuttings away from the surface. I use an X-acto knife for the latter operation.

(More customer reviews)I have a scrapbook room and I wanted to put all of the names of my family members on the wall. The vinyl is very sticky so I used a plastic ruler to attach the letters to until I could position them on the wall. To make the names straight, I used a level and drew a pencil line on the wall. I did not need the adhesive that is often ordered with this product. I'm not sure of the purpose of the adhesive as the vinyl went directly on the wall with no problem. I would also think the letters could easily be removed.
I placed the names randomly on the wall and added scrapbook frames featuring some of my favorite pages randomly on the wall as well - very pleased with the outcome!

Cricut 29-0111 Carrying Tote Bag Review

(More customer reviews)I can appreciate the frustration that the first poster felt when finding out that this lovely bag DOES NOT FIT THE Cricut Expression Machine 29-0300. In that regard, none of the the advertisements for the Cricut Bags, are clear enough. This is a great bag that covers and protects the Cricut - Personal Electronic Cutter. Without any cajoling, stuffing or manipulation, this Cricut Carrying Tote Bag 29-0111 will house the Cricut Personal Cutter with its power cord, a sticky-mat, a single cartridge (in it's original box) and the Cricut 29-0004 7-Piece Tool Kit for Cricut Cutting Machines. I carry a lot of stuff to crops. So, even if I planned to use only the Cricut for my layouts, I wouldn't consider keeping everything I needed for a crop in this bag -- paper, scraps, other-than-Cricut related stuff etc.. I don't see where they would fit well. Maybe I could practice focusing on one tool when going to crop? Hmmm... NOT!!! Since I prefer that my totes match, I plan to check out the Cricut Messenger Bag for toting paper etc. The super-soft texture of the Cricut Carrying Tote is mesmerizing (once you touch it you will want to touch it again) yet it appears to be durable. I find the color appealing -- I love that green!
This bag was just what I needed for my new personal cutter. Happy Scrapping! Note: I located one website which said that this bag could hold 12 cartridges and key pads -- obviously without their cardboard cases. You get more storage in the middle of the bag if you move the tools into the side storage compartments in the bag. L

Spellbinders S4-136 Nestabilities 6-Piece Concentric Die Template, Classic Heart Review

(More customer reviews)If you like the layered look on your greeting cards (see customer image above) or scrapbook pages, these Spellbinders nestabilities dies are the perfect accessory for your embossing/die-cutting machine. I use them with my Cuttlebug V2 Embossing & Die Cutting Machine, and according to the directions that come with the dies, they also work with the Spellbinders Wizard and the Sizzix Big Kick machines.
The directions that come with these dies explain very clearly how to use them with each type of embossing/die-cutting machine. In the case of the Cuttlebug, I didn't have to purchase any new parts except for the dies themselves, and I was up and cutting.
This is a very useful product. I highly recommend it. I actually find that the Nestabilities die cuts are more useful than the ones that carry the Cuttlebug label.
