(More customer reviews)These are nice and work as intended. But the holes in the lid top are large enough for a fruit fly (and 100 of his friends) to squeeze through. Maybe you don't have fruit flies in your house. Maybe you do, like me. Personally I have not been freaked out too much by this, but I did cut some squares of cheese cloth to put under the lids. So I'm back to cheese cloth. So what did I buy these for? Well, I didn't know about the fruit fly issue. Nobody told me. So now you know.

I prefer a cotton cable knit blanket and had a hard time finding one when the blanket I had bought was no longer available. I found this blanket online and it is exactly what I was looking for. I bought duplicate blankets for our latest grandchild. He has one at his house and one at ours. The blanket is the perfect size and very good quality. I thought it was very reasonably priced.

(More customer reviews)I bought this espresso blend to use in my Keurig coffeemaker in hopes of making a decent "latte" without all the hassle. I've been making real espresso for my lattes for several years now, and I was skeptical that a k cup could even come close. Well, was I wrong. It's not a real latte, but it's so close that it isn't worth all the hassle of making the real thing anymore. I was only going to use this on occasion if I was in a hurry, but now I use it everyday instead of my espresso maker. If a "real" latte is a 10, this k cup latte comes in at an 8.
Just pop the k cup in and turn on, heat a little over half cup of the milk you like in the microwave, mix, and add a little sweetener of choice, and some cinnamon on top. All in about 2 minutes with no mess. Love it!

Satsuma Designs Jersey Swaddling Blanket - Natural Review

We used ours on a trip to Hawaii with our two week old and it worked beautifully. The jersey material is perfect for warmer temperatures and the velour blanket is especially warm and cozy when it's colder. As others have said, it comes beautifully packaged and makes a great gift. (More customer reviews)I like the Tadpole company and like that they make organic products which I was in search of for my newborn. I bought these in several color patterns because they were organic. Regular priced they are way overpriced, so wait for them to go on sale. The quality of them is just not worth paying full price since they do not hold up well under repeated washing, even on delicate washer/dryer cycles with gentle baby detergents. I also am not impressed with the size, they are great for using around baby, especially in the car seat etc, but are way too small and odd shaped to try to swaddle a baby with. They are also not as soft as I would have hoped. I think Tadpoles can do better!

Naturepedic Waterproof Fitted Crib Pad, 28x52 Review

(More customer reviews)I've used this pad for over a year in my child's crib. It is soft and thick and fits well. It is waterproof as claimed. (If you're curious about the waterproof coating they use, here is some info:[...])
Big downside: This thing takes forever to dry after washing. Far longer in the dryer than anything else in the laundry. And if you don't get it very dry, it quickly mildews. Once I left it overnight after washing in the machine and it already smelled of mildew the next morning. Twice I attempted to air-dry it after washing and ended up with a mildewy pad that I had to re-wash and rinse with added vinegar.
If you live in a very dry climate and can hang it in the sun, it might be okay. But in our more humid climate, all I can do is put it in the (energy-hungry) dryer for a looong time. Bummer.

This time I needed a new one, so I researched a quite bit to see if other makers were catching up with Sunpentown and had anything better. Eventually I still decided to stay with Sunpentown and bought this model.
After a few months of using this one, I am not disappointed. It works great. This model has a new(additional) setting(that my old one did not have) which allows using dry beans directly without soaking them first. I have not tried the new setting yet. I still soak the beans first as an old habit.
Also this model comes with a sturdy holder so when the central part is pulled out from the stainless steel pitcher, it can be securely placed in the holder, instead of inconveniently laying it on kitchen countertop or sink. I love this feature.
I would recommend this product to anyone who likes soybean milk.

Coffee People Organic K-Cups for Keurig Brewers (Pack of 50) Review

(More customer reviews)I have been a fan of Newman's Own Organic Extra Bold Fair Trade blend for quite a while now. It has become my "go-to" coffee when using my Keurig B70 coffee maker. However, I am always looking for something new and when Coffee People's Organic Extra Bold came out in Amazon's new frustration-free packaging I had to give it a try.
The first thing that I noticed after brewing a cup was the aroma. It smelled more like freshly ground and traditionally brewed coffee than any other K-cup that I have tried (and I have tried dozens) with a rich, heady aroma. The taste was full with medium-high acidity and a pleasing amount of "bite", as one would expect from a dark-roasted blend. A perfect cup for me when using the 7 1/4 oz. setting but I imagine that some will like the larger cup size as well. I think that this coffee is strong enough to deliver a rich cup even with 9 oz. of water. I also like the fact that it is a certified organic coffee.
As for the packing, Diedrich (who makes coffee under the Coffee People, Gloria Jean and Diedrich name) has worked with Amazon to reduce the amount of packaging needed for their K-cups. All 50 of the pods are in one, heavy-duty box with no additional packaging. I just ripped the top off and stuck the entire thing on my shelf. A nifty way to help reduce waste and a convenient way for me to buy my new go-to coffee!
