Typhoon Vintage Pink 6-Cup Espresso Maker Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I've only had this a few months. It makes a nice cup of coffee but the pink enamel stains easily and is already chipping off around the spout. It also has a design fault as the lower tip of the handle tends to melt from the heat of the gas stove as the coffee perks.

Enjoy a rich, soul-warming wintertime tradition with help from this whimsical hot-chocolate maker and accompanying accessories. Inspired by the antique hot-chocolate vessels first popularized in the 1800s, the sleek 32-ounce pot features sturdy ceramic construction that retains heat for one delicious serving after another, with the words "Hot Chocolate" inscripted in black across its soft pink exterior adding a stylish touch. Furthermore, the unit's smoothly rounded handle and drip-free pour spout allow for graceful serving, while its translucent lid captures steam and helps maintain the temperature of hot milk, water, and other liquids. Two 12-ounce pink ceramic mugs also come included, complete with simple-to-grip handles, unique geometric shapes, and broad bases for spill-free use. In addition, the set's battery-powered frother whips hot milk and chocolate together with ease, creating deliciously creamy helpings of the beloved hot drink--no more sloshing while stirring or getting to the bottom of a mug only to find unmixed chocolate. Best of all, the pot and mugs can be safely warmed in the microwave and cleaned up in the dishwasher when through. The hot-chocolate pot measures approximately 4-1/2 by 6-2/5 by 7-4/5 inches. Best of all, Bonjour will donate $3 to the Susan B. Komen for the Cure foundation for each set purchased.

Cuisinart DCC-450 4-Cup Coffeemakers with Stainless-Steel Carafe Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I bought this coffee maker because it was one of the only four-cup makers I could find, and I have other Cuisinart appliances that I love. It does make good coffee. However, it spills, it sloshes, it makes an enormous mess. I pour it slowly, I pour it quickly, I pour it with the lid on and with the lid off the carafe- doesn't matter. I end up with water everywhere when I'm filling it up, and I end up with coffee everywhere when I'm trying to pour a cup. It's also nearly impossible to pour all the water into the reservoir - there's far too much lip on the carafe cover, and the angle is very awkward.
If you do manage to end up with some coffee in your cup, it IS good, and it does stay very hot. I'm not sure that's worth the extreme irritation first thing each morning, though.

Cuisinart CPM-900PK EasyPop Popcorn Maker, Pink Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)We have had this product for years as my daughter is a popcorn fanatic. We never had any problems with soggy popcorn, perhaps because we remove the thin plastic lid from the top while it is popping. Which is something I think you are suppose to do otherwise you would get too much condensation built up inside the bowl. When it is done we attach the lid before we release the bowl from the hot plate and invert it. This product has been used heavily for 4 years and still works great. I am purchasing another one today for my daughter and her sorority house to enjoy.
