If you are specifically looking for Funky Brush, look elsewhere. This set, as pictured, is called Boxed Brush. It is a great, versatile font.

Sizzlits Alphabet Sets are a perfect lettering solution. Each set comes complete with: uppercase & lowercase letters, numbers 0-9 and selected punctuation marks all neatly organized in a specially designed storage case that is lightweight and transports easily. A set is typically 35 dies and on each die there are two to four unique shapes totaling 70 to 140 individual shapes (see below for details of this set). Each die is roughly 2 3/8" x 2 5/8" x 1/8" thick and designed to cut from a single sheet of lightweight paper to cardstock resulting in letters up to 1 1/2" tall. Cuttlebug Emboss A2 Review

(More customer reviews)The Cuttlebug embossing folders are the best of all worlds. They emboss cleanly, can be used in most larger die cutting machines and they're inexpensive. I use mine in a Sizzix Big Kick. They are plastic folders with a positive image on one side and a negative on the other. Sandwich paper between, put it through the machine and voila! You have your image
The area the larger folders cover is a quarter sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 inch paper, just the right size for a small card or a panel on a larger card. This particular design looks good as is or colored in with chalk or markers.
The most dynamic method, however, is to use a brayer to ink the negative of the folder, insert the paper and roll it through the machine. What you get is the raised image the color of the paper and the background the color of the ink. It is gorgeous.
Some of the most effective uses come from embossing white paper and doing nothing at all other than adding a sentiment or a couple of embellishments. It can be quite elegant.

Sizzix System- Die Cutting Machine Review

(More customer reviews)The best of the Sizzix die cutting machines. The press style lever machine is by far superior to the roller style. It's faster and easier to operate and produces the best results in comparison to the roller style. Add the systems adapter and you can utilize the small sizzlit dies if you don't happen to own the Sizzix Sidekick. The Sidekick is another worthwhile investment.
I purchased the roller style BigShot in order to accommodate the larger dies, but have only used it a handful of times as it cannot compare to the original machine. It was not a prudent investment as the larger dies are few and not impressive. I had also thought that bigger and newer may have translated into better and improved, which is certainly not the case.
Original Sizzix press style lever machine-two thumbs up. The Sizzix Sidekick-two thumbs up. The Sizzix BigShot-two thumbs down.

Sizzix Textured Impressions Embossing Folders, 2-Pack, Spring Flowers and Paisley Review

(More customer reviews)I was happy to see Sizzix start producing embossing folders like these. ProvoCraft seemed to have the market cornered for quite a while. What I like about the plastic folders is that they produce a crisp embossed design because they press the cardstock or paper between a positive and a negative face of the design, making the resulting embossing very detailed. These should not be confused with the Sizzix Texturz, by the way--these aren't texture plates, they're folders which actually emboss images, not just add subtle texture.
One of the drawbacks and criticisms of the ProvoCraft folders was that the design wouldn't cover the entire front of an A2 size card. These Sizzix folders do! At first glance they seem pricier than the ProvoCraft, but Sizzix has bundled these into groups of coordinating designs of various sizes so that you're often getting an A2 size embossing folder as well as some smaller ones; or as in the case of this particular set, two A2 size folders, so they're priced competitively. I have a number of these sets now and I like the designs. They work great, too, with the Big Shot or the Cuttlebug, and they add a nice finishing touch to cards or layouts. I'd recommend them highly.

Sizzix Texture Boutique Embossing Machine Review

(More customer reviews)I normally stay away from the newest scrapbooking/die cutting machines, but this cute little machine is a must have for the cardmaker or scrapbooking fiend. Seriously, this is sooo easy to use and it only takes a few moments to transform your plain A2 card into a unique embossed card. As for the embossing "folders" you can use other designs from some of the other well known top companies as well. However I really like the Sizzix designs and sets that they currently have available. (Designs with Wings/hearts, flowers, phrases, animal prints, etc.) But it is great to know that you have that capability to use other like products with the same results. I would also suggest to purchase the sizzix folder sets when you can find them because they are very popular and sell out quickly! It was difficult for me to find additional embossing folder sets at the local stores because they would literally be sold out within a day or so! Trust me, you will want them all! However, the designs will jumpstart and inspire your creativity! There is so much you can do with the finished embossed images that this little gem creates. The most popular technique is to sand the embossed image or apply a light application of your favorite paint or chalk to bring out the design.
The texturing boutique is solidly built, easy to maintain and store. For the price this is an excellent addition to your scrapbooking tool collection. Also it is easy for the kids to use,(with a little help in assembling the sandwich combo) which makes it nice when you have an assembly line going and need a bit of help with putting the components of a project together. The kids especially like the flowers and butterflies! Bottom line, awesome product, easy and fun to use!
