(More customer reviews)Currently, this is the only K-Cup 50 pack listed as "mild" on Amazon. I was expecting something with only a little flavor and bitterness, but these K-Cups surprised me. They're not as strong as the bold or extra bold flavors, but the difference is reasonably subtle. They're certainly not bland or tasteless. Also, they do taste to me a little sweet and smoky - just as they are described above.
A note about packaging: when I bought a Coffee People 50 pack from Amazon, the K-Cups came in only one box - a thick, corrugated cardboard Coffee People box. Amazon just stuck the mailing labels on the box and gave it to USPS. When this coffee arrived, the K-Cups were in a thin Timothy's cardboard box, which Amazon had put inside one of their standard corrugated cardboard boxes. The upshot is that these Timothy's 50 packs are mailed double-boxed, unlike the Coffee People 50 packs, and so it seems less likely that the Timothy's 50 packs will get damaged in the mail.

My Invento Pod Coffeemaker HK10M Review

(More customer reviews)Got this new single serve coffee machine as a birthday gift. In my family everyone wants their coffee at different time and when they do, they want different types. This machine has solved all our coffee related problems and I have to say the overall quality of the machine is great. It makes a little noice when operated (there is a compressor inside) but it is not too bad. The Cafe Invento coffee pods I got with it are also of high quality. I get a strong, yet smooth cup every time and it even has a thick froth on top - without any milk ! I like the Hazelnut flavored pods, but my husband enjoyes the stronger ones, like the French Roast Fanatic and Juan's Columbian. There are many more to choose from, but I would strongly recommend to stick to the same brand coffee pods. They have twice as much coffee as the Senseo pods, which I tried once. Not good. When using the original Cafe Invento pods, I have always got a perfect cup. My next wish is to get another one for my office. I cannot stand the vending machine stuff at work anymore!

(More customer reviews)My wife and I love this k-cup. We've tested all the extra bold dark roasts out there. In fact, we did blind taste tests and pitted Timothy's Midnight Magic vs. Green Mountain EB Dark Magic, Gloria Jeans EB Black Gold, Van Houtte's Eclipse EB, Green Mountain EB Espresso Blend, Green Mountain EB Sumatran Reserve, Timothy's EB Parisian Nights, Coffee People EB Organic, Coffee People Jet Fuel, Coffee People EB French Roast, Tully's EB French Roast and Tully's EB Italian Roast. Yes, we honestly tested them all. Many of the other contenders are fine coffees in their own right and without direct comparison to Midnight Magic, they'd be a fine k-cup. But when compared directly with Timothy's Midnight Magic, we found we chose it every time in blind taste tests. It amazed me when my wife picked it every single time. We *do* note that Coffee People's Jet Fuel tasted very similarly to Midnight Magic. All else being equal, we'd purchase which ever one is on sale: CP Jet Fuel or Timothy's Midnight Magic.
There is no way you'd be let down by this k-cup if you *like* extra bold, dark roasted coffee. It's just perfect!
A must buy for Keurig owners!

(More customer reviews)This robust flavor stands up well to a travel-sized mug and is indeed very smooth as described, but I didn't get an actual Kahlua flavor much, if at all. At first the flavor seemed to have a burned taste to me--the very flavor I was avoiding with the single serving Keurig system. I decided to test it by adding some real Kahlua to standard unflavored coffee and found it didn't taste vastly different--so I guess this is how it is supposed to taste, but it's not what I expected. The guy in the liquor store said that without the alcohol you wouldn't get the exact taste. Overall, I found the flavor okay in a big mug (too strong for me in a cup) and the two-box pack is a good value.

Timothy's World Coffee, Kona Blend Medium K-Cups for Keurig Brewers (Pack of 50) Review

(More customer reviews)I'm a huge fan of K-Cup coffees. I have reviews for several, including other Timothy's roasts. The Kona Blend is one of my three favorites.
This roast isn't as dark as most would have you believe. It is relatively mellow, not burnt or harsh at all. It is pretty strong though, so if you're looking for a "good morning" caffeine buzz this is a good contender. Not as strong as something like Coffee People K-Cup Dark Roast, Extra Bold Jet Fuel for Keurig Brewers, 24-Count Boxes (Pack of 2) or Coffee People K-Cup Extra Bold Wake Up Call Bold for Keurig Brewers, 24-Count Boxes (Pack of 2) but those are much harsher coffees.
Note that if you've had 100% Kona coffee, this isn't the same. 100% Kona is very smooth and unique tasting but far more expensive than this. This K-Cup is a blend that comes somewhat close but not quite, but in my opinion is a good value. If you really want to experience 100% Kona, you can buy it from Amazon. If you get it in pods it's easier to use with a K-Cup machine, like the Aloha Island Coffee KONA-PODS - Medium Roast, 100% Pure Kona Coffee Pods, 36 Count Box.
Well worth the money. Buy a box!

(More customer reviews)I first learned of the Keurig system almost ten years ago. At that time, I worked for one of the largest marketers of the systems in our area. I had the chance to sample almost every brand and their different brews. Timothy's traditionally always made some of the best brews for the system.
I have left the company, but kept my brewer. I can still purchase anything I want at cost (if I drive the 30 miles to pick it up). I choose to use Amazon's subscription for ease of use. It is only a couple of bucks more than cost, and includes free shipping. No more trips for coffee, and sure I miss the old mates, but this so worth it.
The coffee is smooth and strong. I prefer a very strong cup of Joe. I typically make Americanos from my espresso machine (a 3 oz double shot diluted w/ 5 oz water). That is close to what this tastes like. I don't know about its acidity, but I can say that it is in line with my palate. No bitterness (like one famous brand). No creama, but really, what do you expect. This is not espresso, it is a strong brew made from Arabica. Really, just a quick quality cup of coffee.
I also order the decaf. It is just as good

It just tastes like a smooth cup of coffee. After my colleague took her machine home, I craved another cup of that coffee. (More customer reviews)It cracks me up hearing people crying on here that the product "doesn't taste like hot chocolate". Well duh, that's because it's hot WHITE chocolate which isn't actual chocolate, it is the cocoa butter that is produced when cocoa is made, then it is sweetened and made into whatever. The result is a creamier, sweeter and smoother taste which is NOTHING like actual chocolate, so unless you are a fan of white chocolate and are expecting this to taste like real chocolate you ARE going to be disappointed. I am a a fan and love it and my K-cups, I have the platinum B-70 coffee maker so I can make a 6 ounce cup if I want it to be extra tasty or 8 ounce if I want it more mild. I would suggest giving it a quick stir as all the flavor can somtimes settle. It's delicious and for those of you who are giving this a bad review because it "doesn't taste like hot chocolate", it's not supposed to, stick to that gross Green Mountain Cocoa that tastes like choco-chalk water!
