It is not over the top plush (like the super expensive beach towels), but way plush enough (are you kidding, for this price i thought it would be like sand paper - it's not, it's nice!) Also, it holds up well in the wash. I expect this towel to work for at least the next 2-3 summers, and we use beach towels every day, the boys are tough on them. Good buy.
