(More customer reviews)Though advertised as a four cup coffee maker, when used as directed, the coffee is awful - weak, burnt.
What I found works is to use two measures of coffee (fill the coffee holder, without using the reducer) but only use half the water (halfway to the release valve). Use low heat and pour as soon is it makes noise. The coffee then is delicious - and about the amount of a double espresso.
