(More customer reviews)I have used Hemmingworth thread for machine embroidery for several years and love the sheen of it. It's the equal of rayon without the breakage problems. The color 1063 looks like metallic gold when sewn out, without all the problems that can go with metallic thread. Although listed as a 40 weight thread, it seems just a little finer and is perfect for small details and lettering under 1/4 inch.
