(More customer reviews)I have owned FoodSaver units for 15 years and have loved them, I have worn our two units but then I purchased the up right V3840. The first V3840 smart seal unit vacuumed on occasion and not many occasions, the casister that came with it would not hold the vacuum I returned it thinking maybe it was just one bad one but the second up right smart seal Food Saver would not vacuum the bags at all. I tried to seal one bag for 15 minutes and NOTHING, it would seal but not vacuume and the bags are just to expensive to waste like that. That too was returned. Give me the old type with a manual seal button which is what I am going to order.
