(More customer reviews)I bought this as a "treat" for my school-age kids, who I figured must be getting tired of the same thing for breakfast every day. My expectation was that this unit should cook a couple of decently sized waffles well in a few minutes time. EXPECTATION MET: two crispy waffles from regular batter in about 4 min! It took one batch to figure out how much batter you really should use without overflow(if you have a ladle, use it!) I was concerned about the cleanability of the unit, but that is not an issue. The non-stick coating is excellent and nothing remains on the griddle surface after you remove the waffles (using a plastic utensil, of course, to preseve the finish.) It stores upright very nicely to conserve space. For the price, it is almost impossible to regret this purchase.
