(More customer reviews)I asked for a Mr. Coffee Cocomotion for Christmas, and I got this item instead. I was prepared to be disappointed, but after using this item quite a bit, I think I'm actually happy I got this one instead of the Cocomotion. This unit separates into 2 pieces (unlike the Mr. Coffee unit), so you can put the mixer in the sink and run hot water into it. It's not immersible, but if you put hot water and some soap into it as soon as you use it, all it takes is a swipe with a cloth or sponge to get it clean. The drinks weren't hot enough the first couple of times we used it, but they've improved, and they are plenty hot enough for me. The literature advertises 167 degrees - ours gets to about 155 or 157. They offered to replace our unit, but I'm happy with it. It gets almost daily use and is holding up so far. The hot chocolate it makes (I've been using milk, a mix and some semi-sweet chips) is far superior to just mixing in a cup, and it has a nice foamy top. We love it. I'd have given it 5 stars if the mixer were submersible and if the drinks were just a little hotter.
