Per the suggested weights, I should have purchased the next size down even though my dog's frame is that of a larger dog with a very lean build. So based on her actual size, the large bed was the perfect fit.

(More customer reviews)I first purchased this item for my larger dog as a bed. I had other beds from the same manufacturer but when they came out with this new eco-friendly line I had to try it. Of all the beds, the dogs both lay more than the others. I like it so much I purchased the same item but small to use as crate liners. They are very light and are perfectly sized for both. I don't see a problem with the size so long as you can measure. I had them for about two years and they still look brand new...minus some puppy nibbling. They are super easy to wash as well!! Highly recommend!!

We have a large 55 pound rescue mutt who loves the bed so much he curls up tight as a cinnamon roll, rests his muzzle on the bedside and slips happily off to doggie dreamland.
