(More customer reviews)So there I am -- it's a beautiful weekend, I don't have to be at the gravel pit, and I'm parked on the sofa watching NASCAR. At which point my youngest son decides he wants Daddy to build him a clubhouse. What do I look like, Mike freakin' Brady? I sure HOPE not, if you catch my drift.
Fortunately for me, I had the computer on to download real-time stats from the race. In order to stop his crying (not to mention Darla's nagging), I waited until a commercial break, then popped over here to Amazon.com and found the perfect solution! Sure, it's supposed to be a tool-shed, but the durable all-weather vinyl and double doors work perfectly for my purposes! Best of all, I didn't have to spend any time getting lumber, taking measurements, or bonding with the boys while building a REAL clubhouse!
Since the little crybaby will lose interest in it after, like, a week, I didn't bother to get the separate foundation kit. I'm sort of bummed that gift-wrapping wasn't available, since that would have added a nice touch of sarcasm.
I will say this: thanks to the Woodbridge Shed 10'x10', I've become "Wonder Dad." Even my older son Seth is impressed; he and his girlfriend keep going out there to admire my ingenuity!

Singer Invisible Zipper Foot - Use With C&C Art F84 Review

It did not "set down" close enough after lowering the presser foot bar, 2. While sewing the zipper, it slid freely along the little bar thus sliding under and breaking the needle.

Stencil cutter Review

Also, it's pretty lightweight, easy to knock off its stand so you have to be real careful. I'm pleased with it, just not sure how long it's going to last.

Sew Fast Sew Easy's Hipster 1/4 Circle Flared Skirt Sewing Pattern Review

(More customer reviews)I've been looking for an easy circle skirt pattern that I could use over and over, and this definitely fits the bill. It took me about two hours to make my first skirt, but I added a few embellishments that made the process a little more complicated. I believe that if one makes their skirt exactly as described in the directions, then it would probably take an hour or so at the most.
The only reason that I don't give this wonderful pattern a 5-star rating is that there are a few little things that could stand to be improved. First, the directions are simple, but littered with amateurish, hand-drawn illustrations. The quality of the illustrations isn't so great and it sort of annoyed me that I paid $12 for a pattern they didn't even bother to illustrate very well. Second, the instructions tell you to choose your skirt length (a very nice feature) but to add 5 inches to this number when actually cutting the material. I found that the additional 5 inches were unnecessary. These extra inches just add an additional step for later, when you would have to hem the bottom up considerably. In my opinion, it would be better to just decide your skirt length, then add only a few inches to allow for the waistband and your bottom hem. That way, you wouldn't have to worry about taking the skirt up later. Third, it's a bit annoying to find out that you have to measure out your skirt length each time you use the pattern. Instead of a more traditional pattern in which you cut against a tissue paper template, this pattern requires a little bit of leg work, though I think that's ok since you can choose multiple skirt lengths depending on your mood.
But those three very small concerns are outweighed by the utility and ease of this pattern. If you're like me and you like your A-line skirts to fall to just below your knees, you could also just measure out your ideal skirt on a piece of muslin, then cut that out and use it just like a tissue paper pattern to save yourself time in the future.
BTW, this pattern calls for using 60-inch wide fabric only, but if you can't find a fabric you really like in that measurement, then you can do what I did. I used the Sew Fast So Easy Pattern, but folded the paper almost in half (not quite in half since I had to take into account a seam allowance of 1/2 inch on each side). That way, you can use smaller width fabrics if you need to. This adds an extra seam to fuss with, but I think the added flexibility of possible materials is worth it.

Wall Lenk L12SCK Cutlass Stencil Cutting Kit Review

(More customer reviews)I have used this product for over a week and have cut out over 30 stencils already. This product works like a charm. It takes about 5 minutes to warm up to maximum heat but after that it cuts through stencil sheet material like butter. It is as easy to use as a pen. Previously I used an exacto knife set and let me tell you this product far exceeds that archaic method. It comes with 2 different tips but I have only found use for the straight tip as I don't see how the curved tip will improve on its ability. For stencil material I use Grafix Dura Lar "Matte" stencil sheets sold in a pad of 25. I originally purchased a thickness of .005 but would recommend a thicker medium such as .007. Make sure to get the matte version as it can be drawn on with pencil without smearing and you can erase any mistakes without so much as a smudge left. Also be sure to purchase the sheets in a pad and not a roll because the pad sheets will always lay flat and not curl like most stencil mediums. I purchased the stencil sheets from Jerry's Altarama but there are alternative sites that sell it as well. This is the first time I have used an electric cutter and I am more than satisfied. I have viewed similar electronic cutters, including the 5 in 1 tool but the reviews on those products were not appealing. This product will not disappoint! Enjoy and happy stenciling.

someone made a mold of a real cast iron mill and badly reproduced it.
When it arrived before trying to use it for the first time I washed it and did dry it very well.
By the weekend when i was going to use it was all rusted. Not a week old.
I could not use it at all.
Also the cup section did not fit at all. bad quiality control.
overall a VERY BAD product.
Do not buy it.

Everytime I put it on the setting for Gather it makes a big knot in one spot, and that's it. The instructions are very small, and not clear in my opinion. There is really no where that I have found for instructions online either. So unless you already know how to use this, or have someone who can show you I think you may end up very frustrated (like me).
