(More customer reviews)Just got this fridge on 3/24/08 and noise when compressor is running is off the charts. Space divisions inside are poorly designed but there's not much choice in small apartment size refrigerators. I may have to send this one back because of the noise.

(More customer reviews)We bought this model for use in our game room bar in July 2008. Upon delivery the temperature controller failed to work properly and the unit never cooled. The controller went completely blank in just a couple of days. The retailer refused to provide us with a new unit and sent a service technician to our house. The technician found that the wiring harness to the cooling fan had either come loose or been installed incorrectly. After connecting the wiring harness the unit began to cool but we found the digital controller still wasn't working properly. The technician asked us to use it for a couple of days to see if it worked itself out. Several days later, unable to change the temperature at all, we again called the appliance retailer and demanded a new unit. They again refused, sending the technician out again. He said he thought the entire computer was fried and needed to take the unit to his shop for service. We were without the refrigerator for three weeks while all of the electronics were replaced. When it was returned it seemed to work fine. Now, almost one year to the day after it was repaired, the temperature controller has again failed and the digital readout is blank. I expected more from a $1,000 bar refrigerator from U-Line. I would not recommend this unit based on my experience with it. Check out the Marvel or Scotsman refrigerators for roughly the same price.

When my wife first brought it home I was not too excited by looking at it, in fact I was downright upset that she wasted our money. My thoughts changed after using it. It worked great and I have had no issues with it since I have had it. It's still working and in good shape. I Would buy another if they were still being made.

I purchased one of these from another company, first on the box the machine as the same picture as your machine so you would think it had the money slots and it would keep your drinks very cold, guess what not, I had the machine with no slots that suck. Because I was trying to make a certain image for my theater Room. Second the machine is a cool spot the pops doesn't get cold. It was a waste of money. I love how your company machine look with the money slot. I believe your product will keep my drinks cold. so I'm starting all over again with this look for my theater room. I will be purchasing from your company this February month between the first and the fifteen. Looking forward to doing business with your company.

Koolaton Vending Fridge is yours to personalize with your favorite canned beverages. A microcomputer inside manages both the cooling and the vending systems. The thermoelectric cooling system is quiet, reliable, and cools the cans down to 32°F below the ambient room temperature. The power consumption is only 65 watts. This Vending Fridge can hold ten 12 oz beverage cans, with 4 cans in each of two separate dispensing sections, and two additional cans in a prechilling section.Choose a location within 6 feet of a wall outlet to avoid use of an extension cord; if an extension cord is required be sure to choose an UL approved cord that is as short as possible. Plug power cord into the socket on the cooler and the wall outlet. Always push or pull on the plugs, not on the cord itself to avoid damage. Do not place the power cord under heavy objects to avoid damage. Replace any damaged power cord. Slide the POWER switch to the ON position. The power indicator light will illuminate and the cooling system will start. Open the display window from the right side and install display cans on the two suction cups to match the contents of the dispensing sections inside. Wetting the suction cups will provide better grip, but deformed cans and paper labels will reduce the grip. When removing the display cans, carefully peel the suction cup from the can.

Personal 12-Can Soda Vending Machine Review

(More customer reviews)I have been running one of these by my bed for two years so I can have cold soda upstairs. It keeps the drinks at refrigerator temperatures, but if the soda is put in warm, then it might take 4-6 hours to get it really cold. It is best to chill the soda in the fridge first, and then put it in. The advantage of this kind of unit over a compressor unit is that it is much smaller and quiter. It uses Peltier junction electronic cooling and a 12v fan.
The problem is that it draws much more current then the 50W power supply provides. The original power supply partly melted when it gave out after about 6 months. You need a 12V DC power supply of at least 80W, and 110W would be better. These can be bought on the Web for $40-$50. Just splice the new AC Adapter onto the original power cord. Obviously, if you've never repaired or modified a small appliance, this is not for you. But if you have some experience with wiring, this is really easy. It's really nice to have chilled soda with such a quiet machine and such a small footprint.

(More customer reviews)I ordered this unit for work, so I wouldn't have to keep buying soft drinks from the vending machine. It does work in that capacity, but there are some annoyances with it, and some limitations.
First I'll start off with the positives. It's lightweight, and it's really attractive. It also does cool things pretty well. I can't comment on warming things up, because I haven't tried it.
The negative part is it is quite large for what it can hold. And more than that, the insides don't hold temperature very well at all after you power it down. It warms up way too fast. Also, unlike a compressor based refrigeration unit, this thing is on all the time. Lastly, you are only supposed to run this for 48 hours consecutively, after which time you need to power if off for one hour. This is not stated in the description, but is an annoyance.
So, overall, it's not bad, because it does keep things quite cold, and you can put most things in it (2 liter bottles you have slant a little). Particularly at work, it can save you money, and give you a much better selection than the vending machine since you can bring in whatever you want. You will also get comments on how beautiful it is; it's that attractive. Just be aware of its imperfections so you won't be disappointed.

As I searched online, I found this little machine. There are three colors: RED, BLUE, and SILVER. I chose blue since it's my favorite color. The Red and Blue only vary in color, but the function of it is still the same. As for the Silver Edition version, it has a coin operated slot where you can either add coins or use the special tokens that come with it. That, to me, comes in handy if you work in a place where people try to leech off your sodas! Ha!
The Koolatron Mini-Vending machine wows many friends of mine when they come into my room. You'll be amazed at how this little machine doesn't consume much space. In fact, it only stands about 18 1/2 inches with a length of little over 12 inches. I enjoy sitting at my computer station and when I get thirsty, all I have to do is press the button. The temperature of the drinks are perfect.
I don't mind the small sound that is emitted from the vending machine since I have my music blaring in the background. This is an awesome creation! I love it!
