(More customer reviews)This little gadget kind of works but is not any better than just using a knife. One push never seemed to be enough to get the peel off besides the fact that it also tore up the garlic clove. Look around for one of those rubber tubes that you roll around with the garlic clove inside- my friend has one and it actually does the job right. So why did I buy this one instead? I actully thought it might do a good job and I am a sucker for unique little gadgets. I didn't even bother to save it with my pile of other gadgets, though - it went into the trash.

Garlic juice is very sticky and the plate that creates the pressing does not come out easily.
It requires a long skewer to push it out.
