Van Vacter Garlic Peeler, Gray Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This little gadget kind of works but is not any better than just using a knife. One push never seemed to be enough to get the peel off besides the fact that it also tore up the garlic clove. Look around for one of those rubber tubes that you roll around with the garlic clove inside- my friend has one and it actually does the job right. So why did I buy this one instead? I actully thought it might do a good job and I am a sucker for unique little gadgets. I didn't even bother to save it with my pile of other gadgets, though - it went into the trash.

About the size of a computer mouse our Schaller provides one of the easiest ways to peel garlic. This unique design incorporates our patent pending peeling spikes that gently remove the peel from the garlic. Simply place the clove on your countertop, place the peeler directly over the garlic until it pops into the peeler. Then simply tilt your wrist until the garlic falls onto the counter, and repeat if necessary. Thats it. ...It's simple, fast, and easy.
