(More customer reviews)I normally stay away from the newest scrapbooking/die cutting machines, but this cute little machine is a must have for the cardmaker or scrapbooking fiend. Seriously, this is sooo easy to use and it only takes a few moments to transform your plain A2 card into a unique embossed card. As for the embossing "folders" you can use other designs from some of the other well known top companies as well. However I really like the Sizzix designs and sets that they currently have available. (Designs with Wings/hearts, flowers, phrases, animal prints, etc.) But it is great to know that you have that capability to use other like products with the same results. I would also suggest to purchase the sizzix folder sets when you can find them because they are very popular and sell out quickly! It was difficult for me to find additional embossing folder sets at the local stores because they would literally be sold out within a day or so! Trust me, you will want them all! However, the designs will jumpstart and inspire your creativity! There is so much you can do with the finished embossed images that this little gem creates. The most popular technique is to sand the embossed image or apply a light application of your favorite paint or chalk to bring out the design.
The texturing boutique is solidly built, easy to maintain and store. For the price this is an excellent addition to your scrapbooking tool collection. Also it is easy for the kids to use,(with a little help in assembling the sandwich combo) which makes it nice when you have an assembly line going and need a bit of help with putting the components of a project together. The kids especially like the flowers and butterflies! Bottom line, awesome product, easy and fun to use!
