(More customer reviews)rug is made of a soft woven material, and i did purchase this rug at a discount for $200. At that price, there are few rugs that can compete in terms of crafsmanship and quality. the only other rugs i can think in this price category are IKEA rugs, and those are pretty terrible. therefore, for the price, this is as good as it gets. it is not a very thick carpet, and the colors are certainly a lot more dull than they are on the picture, and are more earthly in nature. nevertheless, they work great for my apartment and i am very happy with this purchase. would definitely recommend.
