(More customer reviews)Aside from receiving the wrong rug... twice, I have a number of bad things to say about Couristan rugs in general. First, they look nothing like what is advertised here on Amazon. Not only do the colors not match, the material and weave is misleading. From the picture, the rug looks to be a fairly tight weave which one could assume to be nice and soft under your feet. Wrong. The material they use is polypropylene as advertised, however it is more like strands of yarn glued to a backing, like old shag carpet from the 70's. And it smells like glue too. Now I know not many people go around smelling rugs, but this smell is offensive and reeks of a cheaply made mass-produced product.
I have received three rugs from Couristan, all of which will be returned. Two were the wrong rug, they have two rugs with the same name: Epic Fresnel. Plug it in Amazon and you'll see one with circles and one with squares. I ordered squares, I got circles twice. The third rug I had ordered at the same time as the others and it was still the same crappy quality as the other two. Im pretty confident ALL Couristan rugs are made like this. To top it all off the shipping on these rugs took twice as long as all of the other items in my shipment.
Please do not waste your money on rugs from Couristan.
