(More customer reviews)When this dumpling maker was still in one piece I found it to be very versatile and used it to make everything from ravioli, to pot stickers, to pierogies, to empanadas. I thought it would be limited use device, but surprised myself by the number of uses I found for it. It also seals very well so provided you do not overstuff your dumplings they stay sealed nicely and look uniform.
That said, it is not tremendously durable. I typically take good care of my kitchen gadgets, but this still broke in the drawer. I would still recommend it as it works well when it is not broken and forms a good seal. However it is definitely necessary to treat it with care.

The circular area of this dumpling maker is 4 inches in diameter. Make dumplings in a snap. Instructions: Place circle of dough on dumpling maker. Using the enclosed brush, moisten edges with a beaten egg and water mixture. Place 1 tablespoon of desired filling in the center of dough. Close dumpling maker and press firmly to seal edges. You can either steam, fry, bake, or boil the dumplings.
