I've purchased several of these lids over the years, and each time, no matter how careful I was, the three little tabs that are supposed to hold the lid to the carafe when you pour always broke off almost immediately. If your lid is broken, just live with it and don't waste your money on a new one. You can't win with this product. Krups should be ashamed to sell this.
