(More customer reviews)I bought the Crazy Critters after being lured in by the promise of durability. My 60-pound Rottie mix has been known to destroy every "indestructable" toy known to man, but he loves plush toys and since this had no stuffing, it seemed safer than most. I paid the extra $8/each (having added the raccoon to my order as well) for the "super-durable" double-stitching and reinforced lining. The Fox and Raccoon with the durable upgrade and S&H cost me $40. I may have expected them to be torn eventually, but it took my dog no more than thirty minutes to have all four squeakers chewed apart and both animals missing essential body parts. We'll be keeping them around for him to chew on and play with as he still loves them despite their silence (and I like that he doesn't choke on stuffing bits), but be warned before you spend that if your dog chews more aggressively than the average Pomeranian, you'll be throwing away pieces in minutes. If I could redo it, I would go to the pet store and find something similar for much cheaper.
