(More customer reviews)I had high hopes for this product. It fell way beyond short of my expectations though. Speaking of 'fell' that is exactly what happened to my bras in this thing. I tried it a few times with different types of bras to be certain. But yes, my bra keep slipping out no matter how many times I wrapped it and snuggled it in the inner ball. It would slip out nad get tangled in the ball and my other clothing. Back to hand washing for me.

(More customer reviews)I thought this was exactly as it was described. It easily makes sliders (LITTLE hamburgers). I found it to be easy and fun to use and easy to clean. It does take longer than 2 minutes to finish cooking on an electric coil stove (about 5 - 6 min.) If you check it and it's not done, just replace the top and wait another minute or two. There is no need to try to flip them. I followed the included instructions for cleaning and had no problems, and found it unexpectedly easy. The sliders are cooked (not flame-broiled) and taste accordingly. My kids love them because they have no hard dry edges. I was pleased with the size of the burgers (fits great on half a hot dog bun) and with the size of the pan (easy to store). I'm happy!

Flavor Wave Oven Deluxe Review

(More customer reviews)This product is great -- when it works. I'd cook frozen salmon steaks in 20 minutes (from frozen-solid to perfectly cooked), and it basically replaced my microwave oven.
However, the workmanship and customer service are terrible! My 1st unit broke after about a year and a half. I was informed that they don't repair the units, they only sell replacement units. So I spent $55 on a new Heater Control Unit (that's almost as much as the entire oven!).
Less than 3 months later, the brand new Heater Control Unit unit broke. This time, Customer Service informed me that the 1-year warranty only applies to the ORIGINAL, ENTIRE oven. So even though the Heater Control Unit was less than 3 months old, it didn't get its own 1-year warranty. And, since I didn't replace the entire oven (just the Heater Control Unit), the original 1-year warranty had expired.
Since my Flavorwave oven is now useless, I just threw it away with no intention of replacing it. Although it's great when it works, you're out of luck when it eventually breaks.
Too bad their customer service policies are so terrible, because the product itself is great.

Hand Held Engraver Review

I was somewhat skeptical of the usefulness of this item when I first purchased it. The product was so cheap compared to similar engravers, that I didn't think it would work well at all. I was pleasantly surprised by the performance of this little gizmo.
It takes two AA batteries, and seems to have a powerful little motor inside. I have engraved at least 20 items so far, and the batteries still seem to be strong. The motor hasn't burned out either. The engravings aren't really as deep as professional engraving tools could achieve, but they suit the purpose. It would be ideal for engraving Christmas ornaments, or you could use it like I do to engrave contact information on your electronics.
Another upside is that the tip isn't sharp, and will not harm skin. This is a plus for children's crafts, and takes away any risk of injury.
The downside is that it isn't of heavy-duty construction (what can you expect for the price?) and may not last "forever."
All in all, though, a great buy.

(More customer reviews)To begin with, this product, does NOT unwrinkle dress shirts, so don't put away that iron just yet. Secondly, the foam ball inside that holds the water will eventually disintigrate with regular use so that the product doesn't work at all. I feel like I totally wasted my money on this! It also took over 4 weeks to receive the product from the manufacturer and then the shipping charges were almost as much as the product itself. In my opinion, the claims of this product are vastly over exaggerated and the fact that it's usefulness is diminished over a short period of time because of the inferior foam material inside the product makes Mister Steamy, a COMPLETE waste of money. I wouldn't recommend this product to ANYBODY.

It for sure is a "one time use only" and the way it is shown on TV is not the way you really use it, not so smoothly - I think they have used an already chopped onion. I would say it is better for soft vegetables such as tomatoes (which also is very messy because of the juice). It was just a waste of money. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

I saved the recipe guide. The problem was that I also experienced a silver residue on the burgers after a few uses that made me concerned. I have also thrown it out because of concerns over this unknown residue that definately did not seem like anything healthy.

(More customer reviews)I bought the Crazy Critters after being lured in by the promise of durability. My 60-pound Rottie mix has been known to destroy every "indestructable" toy known to man, but he loves plush toys and since this had no stuffing, it seemed safer than most. I paid the extra $8/each (having added the raccoon to my order as well) for the "super-durable" double-stitching and reinforced lining. The Fox and Raccoon with the durable upgrade and S&H cost me $40. I may have expected them to be torn eventually, but it took my dog no more than thirty minutes to have all four squeakers chewed apart and both animals missing essential body parts. We'll be keeping them around for him to chew on and play with as he still loves them despite their silence (and I like that he doesn't choke on stuffing bits), but be warned before you spend that if your dog chews more aggressively than the average Pomeranian, you'll be throwing away pieces in minutes. If I could redo it, I would go to the pet store and find something similar for much cheaper.

Quartered a normal yellow onion, and the machine crushed it instead of cutting it. I could get it to work with the larger grate if I literally put all my body weight on top of it. Piece of junk. I received one as a Christmas gift and have used it once. That was enough for me!
First and foremost, the burgers are just too small. Think of them as more like burger crumbs.
But then you get to the clean up part...aargh! What a headache! With the tiny little holes and all the other little crevices, and it winds up taking hours to clean.
If I'm using a grill, I want quick and easy with minimal clean up.
The slider grill isn't it.

CARDIO TWISTER Review

(More customer reviews)well.. i guess you should always start with the positive. Its a good product to get a good workout on. im not to into exercising maybe a bike ride or walk or such. Im 33, just not real ambitious, i wanted somthing i would keep up with. So that being said i love this its fun and a good workout. the first week i could only do @ 15 min (thats @800 steps) which i saw as pretty good for a start. then i got up to 30 and am now doing the workout it came with. Its a good workout it works your butt and calvs, and thighs. Im 6'1 so the waist thing is wierd because i really have to lean over to turn the handlebars.. so not sure about that if your really tall like me. but the bottom half really feels it and im still on the basic level of the machiene. you can make the resistance harder if you need to. Now the bad.. we go the machiene and it came with wrong pices and the chains to make the pedals move were off and it took @ 3-4 hours for us together to get it working. If you are good at fixing stuff its no problem but if not i would probably not buy this item, being if i didnt marry my husband i would of returned the thing. It was a Mess! and it only goes to 250lbs and i wouldnt push that at all, being you will probably slip the chain agian. I keep having to re align it so im not real sure how long it will stay together??? but i do like the idea of it, so i hope it holds up. so thats my 2 cents for anyone who wants to know! =)

I bought the Space Bag Travel Roll Bags four years ago when I moved to Texas from Florida. I have since moved four times and for each move these bags were invaluable. I felt compelled to write because someone complained they were impossible to get the air out of them. I follow the instructions on the bags and don't overfill them, and run the plastic tab over the opening until it's really sealed. Then I roll them and sit/kneel on them on a rug or similar surface to get resistance...and I'm no Amazonian woman, but I can get the air out of them. They're actually a lot of fun to own. I've used them while camping and air traveling too. I watched my suitcase from the plane get completely soaked, but I wasn't worried about my clothes b/c I knew they'd be dry, and they were (it was everything else in the bag that was soaked). So... in short, I recommend them.

Flowbee Haircutting System Review

(More customer reviews)I just received my third Flowbee. I have used this product for almost 18 years. It has worked great and I have saved myself a ton of money. I am also picky about how my hair is cut. My chief complaint is how cheaply they are built now. I have all three flowbees side by side. The earliest model is black and built like a tank. It was made in the "good ole" US of A. The second one has a yellow head with the word Flowbee on it. It still works well but over time the blades get dull and the spacers break fairly easily. The parts apparently were made elsewhere but it was assembled in this country. The latest version came recently in the mail. What a disappointment! It still has a yellow head but there is no writing on it. Everything about it is cheap! Even the cardboard box it came in is thinner and less sturdy. The covering on the handle is shrunk-wrapped plastic. It is made entirely in China. Avoid this model if possible. Buy the second model that comes in a box without a picture on it if it is available. Hopefully the manufacturer will read this message and think about returning the quality to this otherwise fine and innovative product.

I ordered directly from Craft-Lite. Shipping way more than I expected. The cutter itself is certainly not worth the price w/shipping. Blade is not sharp or long enough for good clean cuts. Too lite weight to press hard enough to get a cut. I liked the idea of the extra blades but finding the cut line is not as easy as the straight line. The light only works when you use thin paper. Really won't work as advertised on photo paper.
Don't waste your money!

The Original BeDazzler Tool Review

(More customer reviews)My daughters and I tried several times to put the gems into a plain tee shirt, (no thick material) and instead of it pushing the rinestone prongs in, it pushed them out. (to where it would cut the user)
We adjusted, went slower, read directions everything. Until I finally got fed up, grabbed my pliers, and pushed the rinestones in by hand and mashed down the prongs with my pliers.
This "bedazzler" was a piece of junk. I was not dazzled at all by its performance. I would love to find a rinestone setter that actually does what it says it is supposed to do.

Wonder Washer Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this to alleviate the amount of laundry I need to lug out into the street. It is good for maintaining in-between laundry and not to be used as a subsitute for a big machine. I use it to wash my daily wear like tank tops, shorts, personal items and delicates. It can wash up to about three to four women's sized tank tops maximum. Its good for baby clothes.
How it works:
-Pour water into bucket, put in clothes and detergent, not to exceed the capacity line inside the bucket. (7L for small loads, 10L for bigger loads)
-Lock on top lid
-Place bucket on the motorized base (similar structure to a blender)
-Plug in cord and select cycle (standard or delicates) and amount of time from selection: 3,6,9,12, or 15 minutes
-Let machine wash. There's a really flat agitator on the inside bottom of bucket that turns clockwise for a few seconds, pauses, and then turns counterclockwise and keeps going in this cycle until the timer is up.
Here's the bad part, there's no rinse cycle since there is no plumbing so you have to pour the water out. I don't reccommend pouring it through the holes on the lid (see picture) because the lid does not lock on tightly and the plastic although thick, is still cheaply made. So just remove the cap, take the clothes out, put in a basin and rinse the detergent off in a sink. Unplug, then remove bucket and pour water out. While the rinsing is annoying, I would pick this anyday over lugging my laundry in the street. And it's just rinsing that you have to do, which is easy compared to handwashing.
Pros:
-Can wash small daily items/delicates
-Cuts down trips to the laundromat
-Saves money
-Do laundry in privacy of your own home
-No plumbing required
-Affordable
Cons:
-Made of cheap looking plastic so be careful not to bang it up
-Top lid does not lock on tight
-No rinse cycle, you need to rinse yourself
-Design is not that sleek/attractive
Tips:
-Wait for clothes to presoak in the detergent before turning on the timer
-Wash light and dark colors seperately
-Do not wash wools as it will shed little pieces that can clog the agitator
-Reuse the soapy water for a second load
-Buy a fold out dryer (I reccomend Polder's chrome dryer)
It sounds like a hassle to use this but I've done my research thoroughly on small washers and this was a good choice for me living in a small walk up apartment. I really didn't want to buy one that required plumbing since they are problematic to hook up, take apart and store, plus I'm sure my landlord would not allow that. When I do three loads here, it is equal to one load at the laundromat. I air dry it, so I end up saving money. I figure it will pay for itself in a few months.
