A beautiful ensemble set of 300 thread count sateen sheets and comforter with cotton/linen yarn dyed jacquard bedding, shams, and linen bed skirt.
All I got was a duvet, NO 300 thread count sateen sheets, NO comforter (a duvet) NO shams and NO linen bed skirt. The duvet is really lovely, beautiful fabric and pattern, it doesn't look anything like the picture, the pattern is completely different and the color in the picture is a warm brownish tan color I guess but the one I got is more of a silvery pewter.
It is beautiful, I'm just really disappointed that I didn't get a complete set like the description said. Now I either have to return it or I have to try and shop around and find sheets, pillow cases and a bed skirt to match. I do really like it even though it isn't what I ordered so hopefully I can find stuff to go with it.
This 2 star review is mostly based on my disappointment with the description of the product compared to what I received. If I was expecting just a duvet it would have got 4 stars for sure, 4 stars for being a really nice duvet, really, really nice actually, but -1 star for not looking anything like the picture provided.

(More customer reviews)I have had this set for a month now and, so far, I am very satisfied. The only complain is that the "honey" color shown in the picture has warmer hues than the actual color. The comforter is warm and soft and feels really nice to the touch and the decorative pillow is so comfy that sometimes I wake up with my head on it, instead of my actual pillow. A really nice set. I have not washed it yet so I do not know how it will react to water/soaps/softener. I'll keep you posted.

(More customer reviews)I had read all of the reviews and was a little worried about wrinkling, but I washed these before putting them on the bed, of course. I used liquid fabric softener in the wash and dried them on medium heat and pulled them immediately out of the dryer when done. They did not wrinkle at all. The color IS more of light teal than a true blue, but still pairs well with other blue accessories.

This 600 thread count duvet cover would have cost me over $180 at BB&B, but was extremely reasonable here at Amazon. This is the 3rd piece of bedding I've purchased from Amazon and I am 100% happy with all 3. I never purchase bedding under 600tc, and at this price, I don't know why anyone else would.
It's thick, smooth, high quality, and the right color. One side has subtle stripes in the sheen and the other side is plain. The buttonholes were done neatly, and all the seams sewn with quality in mind.

(More customer reviews)I learned how to iron in the Army, putting creases on my uniforms each Sunday night before I go to work. And I was pretty good at it. But I always thought there had to be a better way. This is a great product and I imagine as an appliance, one is probably comparable to the other, the difference being price and features.
The trick, and perhaps the reason for some negative reviews is that folks seem to expect it to be similar to hand ironing. It is not. You need to develop a new process, tackle your clothes differently. I suggest three things:
1. Think in big chunks. Remember the hand iron is small and most of us who can iron think in small areas. This appliance will tackle much bigger areas. And it will iron both sides at once - don't stress yourself about flipping things over - spend time instead on smoothing out the wrinkles and then simply drop the handle, hit a bolt or two of steam. Be patient, the skills will come.
2. Let it warm up - I plug it in, turn it on and putter a bit, gathering laundry and prepping my clothes. I set it up on my old ironing board and then simply lower it down so I can sit at the couch and iron while watching the evening news.
3. Practice, practice, practice. If you have a garment that absolutely must be ironed perfectly for a meeting in an hour - and you have never used this press before - then you will be disappointed. I suggest practice placing items on it while it is unplugged and cold - you will quickly get the hang of it. When first trying it out, iron a few old shirts, pants or dresses to get the hang of it. Then jump in. In a few short attempts at ironing you will quickly master the new skill and find that indeed ironing is no longer a task that lasts hours and hours.
I can get a week's work of ironing in just a little over an hour and now I can put a nice starched shirt on and grab a pair of creased pants for my corporate executive job - and I don't pay the dry cleaner to do it anymore.
