The blade stops rotating when the engine is under load. Do yourself a favor and spend a little more to get a low end McLane model, you will be glad you did

With only one wheel on the far right side of the blade it tilts towards the blade when you lift the handle to go around a curve in my driveway. it then digs into the concrete or the lawn and tears it up. I purchased this thinking it would be as good as the Trim Rite trimmer I've owned for almost 20 years but it's not.
