(More customer reviews)The Bialetti 6 cup espresso maker occaisionally needs replacement gaskets due to wear and tear or if overheated. This replacement is reasonably priced and arrived quickly. Why buy a new system when the gasket can be replaced. But, alas, we couldn't find any in stores. Thanks to Amazon we are back to making espresso the traditional way. Will order again when needed. (More customer reviews)I've had these for several weeks and so far I am very impressed with them. I have a 3 cup Moka pot that I bought in Italy years ago and in the past, I've always used Bialetti rubber gaskets. These are so much better!
After one or two uses, the rubber gaskets begin to show signs of wear - the silicone gasket that I've had in place for almost a month still looks brand new. Also, the rubber gaskets attract espresso grounds that stick to them and sometimes have to be removed with a fingernail or scrubbing - no problem with the silicone, just rinse and they're clean. Another benefit is that they are much easier to replace and remove. The rubber ones are quite stubborn, especially once they begin to harden - these just slide in and pop out.
I hope they last as long as it seems they will. So far I'm very happy!

(More customer reviews)I guessed that the 3-cup version was what I needed for our 4-cup stainless steel Bialetti pot, and luckily I was right. The gasket's outer diameter is 2.5 inches, and the ring is 0.25 inches wide.
It is the real deal, Bialetti product - a package of 3 gaskets plus a replacement filter. A great deal at this price.
This came from J&R, and arrived in only a couple days with standard shipping. I'm totally, completely satisfied!
