(More customer reviews)I first saw this product advertised in a sewing catalog. Looked like a good idea but it also seemed a little pricey. When I found the sharpener on Amazon at a lesser price than the one in the catalog, I hesitantly decided to try it. First, the sharpener is much more substantial than what it appeared in the catalog or online. It is easy to use, it is handy to have near my cutting area, it doesn't slip or slide, and the results are superb--super fine cutting edge. I imagine I will save many $$$ by being able to sharpen (not replace) the blade. (I have saved many of my dull rotary blades thinking that sometime I would take them to a professional sharpener. Now, I can be that "professional sharpener" thanks to this truly great product.)

(More customer reviews)I have kids that love to do art and cut paper. I had this sitting away from my days when I thought I would learn to quilt. But when my son decided he wanted to cut a bunch of paper to do origami, I thought between this and the rotary cutter, it would make quick work of that project.
For cutting paper, you have the grid lines to help you measure -- no ruler required. My only complain is I wish they would put a "lip" on one edge so that the paper doesn't move while you are cutting it.
It is also great as a protective surface while coloring and painting -- particularly when using markers which tend to bleed through paper.
It lasts forever -- I had originally bought my mat back in 1993 and it hasn't "degraded" at all -- it still has the "self-healing" properties for the rotary cutter. The color hasn't faded and it has held its flat shape (despite having been stored standing up).
My only regret is that it took me so long to think of all the uses for this mat!

(More customer reviews)I just got a pair of these machine quilter's gloves, and I love using them! They give me that grip, needed, to
push the layers of fabric through the machine, in order to quilt all 3 layers. No dry skin, no slipping, you get a good grip with these, and they are lightweight material, so, you hands don't perspire, while quilting in hot weather.
I want to get another pair, asap, just in case.
One thing, these are not machine washable, nor can you put them in a dryer. Hand wash, only. Not a big deal, really.
I recommend these, for any machine quilters, who are tired of their fingers slipping, or tired of having aching muscles, from
getting the fabric through the machine.

(More customer reviews)I love love love this curve master presser foot! I thought I was really fast at curved piecing the old way, with pinning. When I got my new presser foot, in the midst of making a quilt with lots and lots of curves, I found out just how fast I could be. No pins, no picking out bad seams, no cussing or fussing. I was able to sew about 5 times as fast - and could do a more efficient assembly line style piecing instead of stopping to pin after each one. I will never sew a curve without it!! and the adapter included to fit my machine worked great. Well worth the price - has paid for itself already in the time saved.
As for use as a 1/4 inch foot for straight seams - it is ok if you are sewing shorter lengths, and with fabric that has a good amount of body. But if fabric is thin, or the seam is quite long, there is a sort of ruffling effect that will happen.
