They worked great and cut through the knit fabric with no problem at all and they weren't too heavy in my hand, which was a big plus. They were very comfortable to use once I got the hang of the odd shape. I would recommend these scissors if you do reverse appliques, for sure.

I wasn't going to splurge on a $200 hoop, but I should have. This hoop is definitely worth the price. I can make due, but I have to readjust often. If I was quilting a lighter in weight project, I would have absolutely no problem. I am still happy with the purchase, and I'm still shopping for a sturdier hoop.

I was so supprised with such a thin envelope contained only 4 yards of regular dotted paper, and it is not special comparing with other regular one, but I paid $10 for it with $4.80 shipping fee (Totally $3.7/y from this seller. But in the regular store, only $61 for a roll of 500 Yards, $0.12/yard). The price is even more expensive than retailed cotton fabric!
Before I made this order, I wrote to this seller asking about what the yardage was for a price of $10 showed in this site because it does not indecade clearly. But I 've never got any reply until now. Because I trusted this Amarzon and I needed this paper very soon, so later I just directly ordered.
Now I need to deal with this seller and see if it actually offer refund.

Simplicity Deluxe SideWinder Portable Bobbin Winder Review

(More customer reviews)You can wind a viking green bobbin but you need to place the bobbin on upside down. It takes a bit of pushing but it will go on. It also spins a small amount, where as if it is placed upright it doesn't move. So I'm not sure if this is a good solution. The upside down bobbing does seem to affect the winding somewhat. My unit didn't wind the bobbin uniformly until towards the end. It did finish up nicely but I haven't had time to test how it works on my machine. There also doesn't seem to be any sort of auto stop feature. You need to watch the unit and power it down using the actual power switch. It doesn't make sense because you have an adjustable fill knob that pops out when your bobbin is full to the setting you choose. However it doesn't actually stop the machine, it seems to be more of a notifier. I do feel they misrepresented it a bit since they specifically list the green viking bobbin. So unless you want to wind your bobbin upside down you might want to look for a better solution.

(More customer reviews)I got this in spite of the bad reviews because it seemed like it had enough adjustments to work for me. I dialed in my measurements and tried out a dress that I had made on the form and it fit exactly the way it fit me. I don't know how well pants will work on this. I tried on a pair of my cotton pants and they were to difficult to get on the form. I do think it will be helpful to fit and alter patterns. It was definitely cheaper to order on line than to get from the store. I thought it was well worth the money!

They might have been suited for cotton, lycra, something like that, but denim would be too much for them. Granted, I was working with leather, but it was very light leather, not saddle leather or anything, just suede and some upholstery.

I have bought many irons in my 30 years in business. And have paid large sums of money for some of them.
This iron is the best all around iron on the market today. I don't say that lightly either. It does pull more power with it's heavy duty electric cord, I expect my electric bill will go up slightly now that I use this exclusively on my fabrics..... But the finished product is so much nicer and I get the professional finish I want to have on my handwovens. The added cost is worth the finished product.

-200 quilt blocks to choose from
-3000 fabrics to choose from
-lay out blocks in standard rows or on point
-you can use a standard layout and number of blocks or customize
-sashing and/or borders can be added.
-experiment with color and block changes with a few clicks of the mouse
-print out yardage estimates, templates or rotary instructions, and lots of other goodies
-visit the Quilt Design Wizard for free montly download to get new block and fabrics
Limitations:
-200 blocks may sound like a lot, but if you want a block and it's not there, you're out of luck; also, you can't create your own block
-fabric library is big, but does not permit you to scan in other fabrics, which can be helpful for some newer quilting techniques
Overall, this is a great beginning quilt program. I love being able to try out my designs and color schemes BEFORE I commit them to fabric. However a professional designer or someone with advanced computer skills and/or deeper pockets might want to go ahead and invest in Electric Quilt which is much more complex, expensive and versatile software made by the same company.
That being said, this software is perfect for me, since I like to keep things simple when it comes to computers. I can design a quilt and easily play around with the color scheme, arrangement of blocks and dimensions. This software is very simple to use and has already been lots of fun and help to me. I'm delighted with this software and will recommend it to my friends.

(More customer reviews)The Button Magic just does not do as good a job as a needle and thread do. The plastic fasteners break and the buttons are very loose--one good yank (or an accidental catch on something) and the button comes out, often breaking the plastic "T" ends. Plus, the "T"s need to be pushed through the button holes, often requiring small pliers which can mangle/flatten the "T" tips. Better to just learn how to sew a button on, I say (type)!
