(More customer reviews)I have a Front Loading Washing Machine in my Kitchen, in a House that was built in 1900. I originally used the Vibration Pads made by Derens/GE, which was offered when I bought my GE Washer. These are made of what appears to be Hard Rubber, with a light tread on the bottom for grip. These Vibration Pads worked somewhat, but not that great, and my Washer would move (Rotate) on the floor during the spin cycle. The vibration would also cause the Dryer to move as well! The fact that I have Vinyl Floors in my Kitchen didn't help. I read a lot of good stuff about the Anti-Walk Silent Feet, and how they were suppose to prevent Washer movement, and reduce vibration and structural damage. Since using them, I have seen much improvement, my Washer and Dryer don't move, and the vibration has been reduced. My kitchen still shakes, and my faucet on sink still bobs up and down, but it is better than before. The material that is used really holds on to the Vinyl Floor, you would have to grab it and pull it up off the floor. The material in the cup itself feels like gritty stone, and that prevents the Washer feet from sliding in the cup. Something to consider if you decide to purchase this, is that unless you can get around all sides of your Washing machine, you may have a tough using these because you won't be able to slide your machine out and back after you put them on.

(More customer reviews)These should ONLY be called antislip feet. They ar the same material that is already on the bottom of my washer feet, just lots more of it. The do NOT dampen any vibration, and possibly make more because they make it nearly immposible to get the machine level. They create a more wabbley base. My 2nd floor laundry room was very level and so was my washer but on the highest spin with heavy loads the energy is transfered to the house creating very tiny wavelength vibrations. My washer did NOT wabble, walk or move at all with out these feet. With these feet under it never felt level. My husband and I spent HOURS with it trying to get it stable and level. It never felt stable. We decided to give it a week to try to see if it was us simply noticing everything again but we saw nor felt any change or improvement over the time in which we used these.
If you need grip feet I think these will be good for you, otherwise they are NOT ANITVIBRATION feet.

(More customer reviews)Overall, these pads reduced the noise from my our Calypso washer. The laundry room is on the main level, with a basement below, and the noise vibrating through the floors was too much in the family room located next to the laundry room. The Silent Feet did little to reduce dryer noise, however. Regrettably, I forgot to take noise measurements with my sound meter prior to adding the pads.
Two negatives. One, the pads have a grippy sand paper like lining that came loose. The adhesive securing the grippy paper to the heavy rubber pads was not sufficient to the task. Second, the pads stuck to the vinyl/linoleum floor, and discolored the flooring much like a cheap bathroom rug can do.
If half stars were an option, I'd give it 3 1/2 stars overall. Washer noise was reduced noticably, but not dryer noise. Overall, the price is too high for the results. Even at half price, I'd hesitate to purchase.

(More customer reviews)Sorbothane is the real deal for reducing vibration and mechanical noise. They will not completely silent a washer/dryer, but WILL reduce the vibration and mech. noise substantially. Mouse pads and/or rubber pads don't work as well. If you're in doubt, research Sorbothane and why it's been around for a while. The anti-walk pads don't have a fabric side to them, so they stick in place. The 'original' version has a fabric-like section stuck to the Sorbothane and it can slide on a floor to aid in placing the pads to the washer/dryer. Both work great.

(More customer reviews)I recently bought a used front load "super high effeciency" washing-machine and dryer set made by LG. I have an LG dishwasher and have been very impressed with how quiet and well it works.
When I first used the new washing machine, it was reasonably quiet, except for when spinning. It is up on 14 inch tall pedestals, and when the spin cycle started, it jumped all around. Also it was shaking my whole house, making paintings, even in non-adjacent rooms, rattle on the wall.
My wife was afraid of it and refused to even do laundry. I assumed I was going to have to sell it again, probably at a loss, and buy something else. But, first I convinced my wife to let me try a few things, such as these feet.
I orderred these feet, then while waiting, I also put two 30 pound cat litter buckets on the washing machine, this stopped it jumping around, but it still shook the entire house.
Today these feet arrived, they are really well designed. The box has two pair of feet, a "sliding" pair for the back feet, and a "sticky" pair for the front feet. You put the "sliding" pair under the back feet, so you can then adjust the position before installing the front "sticky" pair. The result is your machine can't slide once setup. This alone is handy. Best of all, they actually successfully damp the vibrations so that my wife didn't even hear the washing machine running spin cycle on the "high" speed when sitting down-stairs, directly under it.
Alas, they are not complete miracle workers. If I remove the two 30 pound cat litter buckets, the washing machine starts bouncing up off the feet still, and thus makes lots of noise. BUT, with the extra 60lbs of weight, and these feet, what was once impossibly loud, is now nearly silent, and my house is once again stable, no bouncing paintings or photos.
HIGHLY recommended.

(More customer reviews)Anyone who has one of the new front-loading washing machines installed on a second story knows how awful it is. The spin cycle shakes the whole house. Pictures rattle on the walls, the windows actually bow and it honestly sounds like a helicopter hovering over the house (I swear, that's not an exaggeration). It actually caused a shelf of my china hutch to collapse.
But wow! These Silent Feet are abolutely great! The best $80 (2 sets) I have spent in a while. The noise is almost completely gone. Same with the vibration. Still a little of both but dramatically improved.
A little challenging placing them under the back feet. They won't slide under the weight of the machine. Our solution: push the machine back, have one person tip it forward and use a stick to slide the Silent Feet into place.
The installers told me they had never seen a front-loading washer run so silently and still. They actually took the Silent Feet packaging with them to recommend them to customers.
