(More customer reviews)The rocket grill is the best kitchen appliance I've ever purchased! It cooks meats perfectly, and there is absolutely no clean up. Steak that isn't frozen cooks in 4-5 minutes with beautiful grill marks, and the meat is juicy and delicious. I haven't cooked frozen meat yet, but I've been told it does great with that as well. I have no idea what the person who gave this one star is talking about. Maybe they have this machine confused with something else, because the Rocket Grill is fantastic.

(More customer reviews)but I read the box before I purchased it, so I knew what I was getting. And I read the directions before attempting to use it. My popcorn turned out brillantly. The directions were simple enough that my neice (who is 6) read them and was able to stop me before I made a mess. For kids (and an aunty) who are accustomed to only seeing popcorn come out of a bag or a metal box at the movie theatre, we love our Hello Kitty Popcorn Maker! It's great fun with little clean up.

(More customer reviews)It works well, but it is not easy to clean. The non-stick surface wipes clean easily, but this is not the problem. The problem is that food and juices from cooking go in a crack between the cooking surface and the housing of the unit. The other night, I decided that I would take the unit apart to try to clean it. It was very dirty inside. I decided that I would try the Salto Santa Fe Quesadilla Maker and it is made the same way. The problem with both units is that whatever runs in the drip tray starts cooking before it can get in the resevoir, resulting in an overflow into the cracks where it cant be cleaned without disassembling the whole unit.

(More customer reviews)I just received this ice cream maker yesterday and made a batch of french vanilla ice cream. I ordered Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream Dessert book at the same time I ordered the ice cream maker and they both came the same day. I used the French vanilla recipe from their book. The recipe is only for one quart so I quadrupled it. I used a lot more salt than the directions with the ice cream maker calls for to get the temperature down and also used a little table salt along with shaved ice. Use enough salt with the ice and you should have no trouble getting the temperature down. The ice cream was done when the motor stopped as per the directions. It only took 18 munutes from start to finish. The brine didn't even run out the drain hole in the can before the ice cream was done. The ice cream was pretty stiff consistency right away. We ate some for a taste test and put the whole can in the deep freeze for about an hour and the stuff set up very well. The ice cream was smooth and not gritty like it can be if it takes a long time to get done. After reading some of the reviews before buying this maker, I had some reservations about buying this particular model. I see now that they were unfounded. I had no problems with it at all. I would recommend this maker to anyone looking for a reasonably priced ice cream maker. Just be sure you use plenty of salt with the ice and be sure your ingredients are good and chilled when you put them together. By the way the recipe I used is excellent. Page 35 of Ben and Jerry's book.

I made a mistake the first time I used it (I don't count that time), I didn't read the instructions as closely as I should have, the Deni should be turned on and the cylinder should be turning at all times, if you stop the machine during the process, it doesn't turn back on and your ice cream process is over, finished or not! Lesson learned... :)

The one type are the people who give this product a negative review because they can't follow some simple instructions, and the other being the people who will be put off buying this blender because of the first. I have been using this device a lot for a while now and the bottom line is that it works great. Just as with anything else, as long as you take care of it properly then it will last a while. The whole thing is extremely easy to put together and take apart. I was able to figure it out with common sense and not even reading the directions the first time I put it together. I later went back and read the instructions to confirm what I had already figured out. I have blended using both the cups and the big blender jar and I am proud to report that it has fully blended all of my fresh AND frozen fruit until totally smooth with no big chunks of fruit. As a lesson to the other negative reviewers here are a few common sense points I have put together for you and others that may have problems. #1 - A blender is supposed to be loud (in case you have never used one before) #2 - If you are blending a smoothie, the more you blend/pulse the smoother it will be! If you only blend for 10 seconds then you will have a lot of chunks of fruit. There's a reason why most if not all of the smoothie recipes tell you to add liquid as well. I RARELY write reviews on amazon but I felt compelled to after reading the ridiculous negative reviews of this blender. Enjoy!

(More customer reviews)The Waring IC70 is a MACHINE! This baby can crush my ice cubes any day. I've found the resulting ice chunks to be perfect for crunching and munching on(I have a compusive ice chewing habit). It is very easy to use, just plug it in, turn on the switch and dump in the ice cubes. It was crushing away on my countertop mere moments after our hottie UPS guy rang the doorbell. Essentially, feed ice cubes into the chute on top and a nice, big plastic bin below receives the lovely crushed output. The stainless steel housing is attractive and understated, but this guy is a little on the large size. Still, I'm willing to give up the counterspace in order to appease my crushed ice needs. I crush roughly 14 ice cube trays worth of ice a day and there is never a hitch. I have had ice cubes get wedged in the chute when I dump a whole tray of ice in at once but this is easily fixed by rocking it gently back and forth.
I found this product far superior to the Deni which makes sno-cone style ice and seemed quite rickety compared to the Waring. Also, much less work than the hand-cranked Metrokane Ice Crusher. This Waring IC70 makes great crushed ice for bar drinks: perfect for my amaretto sours and mojitos- even margaritas on the rocks, also great for soft drinks. This does not produce the consistency of ice needed for sno-cones or blended-style drinks.
