When the blade on your Xyron Wishblade personal digital cutter starts getting dull, this cutting blade kit comes in handy. It contains a blade and three different-colored caps that determine the amount of blade exposed. Blades typically last about five to six months depending upon the amount of use and types of paper being cut--thicker paper wears the blade out faster. A sharp blade ensures professional results, so be sure to replace the blade as necessary. The cutting blade pack measures 2-1/5 by 1/2 by 1/2 inches.

(More customer reviews)I've had this product for a year and a half. It takes some work to become comfortable with designing and cutting files, but well worth the effort. Lots of support from yahoo Groups and other web sites. Lots of FREE files shared, too. Xyron customer service leaves a lot to be desired, however. Also, I cannot use this with my new Vista computer. Drivers are available for 32-bit Vista, but not 64-bit. Apparently Xyron isn't making new drivers any time soon. Now I have an expensive machine that I love, but cannot use.

Xyron Laminate/Magnet Refill Cartridge for XRN510 5-inch Creative Station, 7-feet Review

(More customer reviews)We used this cartridge to make save-the-date magnets for my sister's wedding. The magnets aren't strong enough to hold more than a single sheet of paper. It's more for decoration, like if you wanted to magnetize some pictures to go on the fridge (or in lockers!) It works just like all the other xyron catridges. You take something you have, or something printed from your household printer and run it through the Creative Station you're using. You should use something flat, or near flat since the rollers inside the Creative Stations aren't meant to handle more than a layer of paper or two. Also, since the magnet isn't very strong I wouldn't recommend any heavy papers or gluing too much on it afterwards.
Pros:
-Easier to work with than packages of magnet material which are either messy to glue on, or come with adhesive that doesn't stick
-As long as it fits in your Creative Station, the magnet material will be applied to the entire piece of media you're working with, not just a small square of it
-The lamination makes everything permanent. it won't fall apart!
One Con:
If you make anything very long, the magnet will curl up because the stuff in the catridges is rolled up inside. This is enough to stop it from staying on your fridge! You'll need to lay it flat, upside down, under something overnight if you find that your magnets are curling. Something the size of a 4x5 photo or business card size won't be a problem, but anything longer and you might run into a lot of curl.
Overall it's great for getting creative!

Xyron 24139 Design Runner Handheld Cordless Printer Review

(More customer reviews)I ordered this Design Runner as a surprise gift for my mom. Well we were surprised all right! We expected it to be a portable handheld computer that you can design your own fonts (like journaling on the computer)Come to find out, it doesn't work that way unless you buy the extension pack for it which is another $50.00. Also it's difficult to get the thing to go in a straight line, and forget about doing turns with it-again only works that way if you order the extra add on packs. When we rcvd ours, the black ink cartridge that came with it did not work. My mom had to go out right away and buy another $40.00 ink cartridge just to get the machine to work. When we called the company about it, they were a major pain in the you know what. Customer service for Xyron is terrible. I was actually surprised at how bad they treated me on the phone, after staying on hold for 30 minutes, and going through four different customer service people. Finally a month later after complaining repeatedly they sent us a new ink cartridge. I said I was surprised with the lousy service, because I own a bunch of Xyron products, and I've never had a problem with any of them before this. I had a strong faith in the Xyron name. Well I guess they just produced a seriously bad lemon on the scrapbook market. Also-my mom has carpal tunnel in her wrist, and this machine is heavy, and difficult to push across the paper and hold the print button at the same time. The ink smeared and the font packs are expensive. I tried it over and over, thinking it was a user error on my part, and nope. The thing is just stinky. I could see how this item would make sense if you only used it for card making, but my mom and I are professional scrap bookers, and it is useless for a page bigger than 6x6. (Or greeting card size.) I personally don't have wrist problems, and the whole next day (after using this product for about 10 minutes the previous day), my wrist hurt. Over all I could not believe the expense of this product with all the add ons, and font packages, and carry case, not to mention the "special" ink cartridges you have to buy for it. Unfortunately I did not buy this item from Amazon, but from another on line scrapbook store, and the store owner, would not give me a refund after spending about $250.00 for the over all package. It's been six months and I haven't used it since we first got it, and I have no desire to ever pick it up ever again. Why put myself through the frustration all over again? I've been trying to unload it since I got it, and I can't send it back to the online store. None of my friends want to buy it from me, and for what I paid I would have to ask at least $50.00. Heck I can't even give this thing away! I hate myself for falling into the whole "I've never tried the product but it looks good from the website" deal. Bottom line-it's a piece of junk. Don't waist your time.-Stick with your at-home printer if you want to journal or title pages in a professional type-font. Item is sooo not worth the hassle. Maybe I can sell it on EBay, to some non-suspecting poor soul.

I also am extremely frustrated that they can't put a warning strip at the end so you know when you are going to run out. I have ruined more projects than I can count because I was at the end of a roll and something got stuck partway through the machine. I've contacted them about this, but never got a hint of a response.

(More customer reviews)This is the best item I've EVER purchased for scrapbooking. I purchased it at a scrapbooking convention in San Diego and immediately felt guilty about the $75 price tag. Once I sat down to scrapbook using it, though, the guilt was gone!
It's so easy to use. You can make ANYTHING a sticker with ease. Pictures, die cuts, memorabilia, etc. If it's flat, it can be slid through the Xyron 900 and turned into a sticker. No more messy glue! It is mechanical, but not electric. You slide a cartridge in, place your picture (or whatever you want to make sticky) on one side, turn the crank and it comes out the other side as a sticker. SIMPLE! No mess, no fuss, no little removable parts to lose.
The only downside at all is that the cartridges can be pricey. I buy mine from my local Michaels ALWAYS using a 40%-50% off coupon. So, that really helps, otherwise you are looking at $30-$35 each. BUT, other adhesives can be expensive, too. I haven't attempted to see which costs more over the long run.
The other amazing thing is that you have a myriad of cartridges to choose from. You can use permanent adhesive, repositionable adhesive, MAGNET back, you can laminate, etc.
This is a MUST have for scrapbookers. You will save a great deal of time and not have sticky fingers! If you KNOW a scrapbooker and they don't have this machine... BUY IT FOR THEM. They will love you forever.

I put my scrapbooking aside until I recieved this refill. Its only been a few days. It came so quickly and it was super easy to put into the X. At first I looked at it like "how does this go in?" and shazam!It was so simple to put in, a caveman could do it. lol. Takes no effort, and gets the job done. I love this stuff!

(More customer reviews)This product is amazing, and it's bigger than you think it is. Turns smoothly, with no wrinkles or bubbles in the final product. It's perfect for velum or fiberous thin papers, which are always difficult to attach, (because glue shows through horribly.) I would have gladly paid twice as much for this product now that I've tried it. (If you're planning on making stickers out of regular cardstock to paper though, you might as well just use glue. If you're working with slightly see-through or plastic papers however, this is the perfect product for you.)
