(More customer reviews)I bought this French Press a few weeks ago, partly because I can't resist anything small and cute :) Seriously though, I'd been using a larger one from a popular swedish furniture store for about a year. But I only made half a caraffe full, so this one seemed like a good idea. I make one cup of coffee at a time (I'm the only coffee drinker) and this makes a perfect amount for one large mug plus a little milk. It's not 3 servings, but generally one "cup" of coffee is understood to be 4 or 6 ounces, not an actual 8 ounce cup.
I can feel the quality difference between this one and my $15 press from the aforementioned furniture store. Easy to clean, cute, and makes great coffee :) Perfect for me!

Brew an excellent cup of coffee in the greenest way possible: just add hot water and course ground coffee, steep for four minutes, and press the plunger. The Brazil French press coffeemaker, first designed in the early 80's, quickly became a symbol of what Bodum stands for: functional design at an affordable price. The New Brazil comes in an array of colors, including this vibrant purple, and features the Bodum logo with an updated handle design. A three-part stainless-steel plunger features a fine mesh filter, which allows for premium extraction of your coffee\'s aromatic oils and subtle flavors. Flavor is delivered directly to your cup, not absorbed by a paper filter. The temperature-safe Borosilicate glass beaker holds 12 ounces of fresh-brewed coffee. A patented safety lid prevents the splashing of liquids while pressing. Also available in a 34-ounce size, the New Brazil is dishwasher-safe and carries a one-year limited warranty. Replacement carafes are available.
