I tested the machine and I said do myself let me get few more to give to friends as a gift, but was too late the price went up to almost 100.00. The only thing I regret is because I bought it this year and I should've bought a long time ago even paying the 100.00 price. This machine is excellent I have cooked so many different thing on it and I love it. I do agree with someone that said that it makes a little noise, but just spray a little oil on it. It does what they show on TV commercial and much more ,just be creative.

(More customer reviews)I did some research online and figured I'd give this rotisserie a try. I love it. I just tried it today for lunch. I followed the very simple instructions and my chicken came out perfect; juicy, moist, tender with the perfect golden glow. Since this was my first try, I wanted to see what it would taste like if I didn't use any spices or butter. It tasted like chicken you would get at a 5 star dinner. No salt or anything, nothing was added and it was great! The meat pulled right off of the bone. If you have a loved one that's not so great in the kitchen yet you like a great meal, get them this as a gift just because you love them and or your stomach.
I found it easy to clean after it cooled down just a little but I wouldn't wait to clean it after setting around for awhile as I can see how it could harden and be much harder to clean the grease. Because it was still warm, all I had to do was use a warm, wet cloth to wipe away the grease from the clear door and sides. I used foil inside the drip try which got tossed out with gease and all.

(More customer reviews)My family has used my mom's wedding rotisserie for years, but after fifty years it finally died. We were in a panic, what shall we do, after all it lasted fifty years, made of shiny steel. We searched all the rotisseries out there, read the comments on the different products, even looked at eBay, noticed comments about the white plastic discoloring eventually from the heat. Then in our shopping we saw the Showtime Platinum with its fine unpainted steel exterior and solid construction. Everyone was selling the thing for $160 plus sales tax, so buying from amazon with free shipping was a no-brainer, especially since the day we placed our order the amazon webpage had a surprise $29 savings certificate. Well, I must say that in just one week we have done one to two chickens a day for our family of six, a marinated pork roast, salmon in the basket, and everything comes out absolutely perfect and delicious. Some think Ronco means cheap construction, but this thing is well and thoughtfully put together, and the video is really quite informative. Even the elastic chicken ties are a great idea, I now must go go a sewing store and buy more of this elastic thread and make my own. There is a reflector that goes down inside the back behind the heating coils that comes out for the dishwasher, and everything removable works in the dishwasher too, with very little cleanup inside and out with a sponge. Great food, easy care, great instructions, thoughtful and quality design, this thing is great. I would (and have) strongly recommend this specific unit to those I know and those reading this review.

Meat and poultry cooked in a rotisserie are not only tender, moist, and flavorful, but also better for you! Fat drips off and the food is evenly exposed to moist heat so is less likely to be overcooked or undercooked. Our electrics buyer swears by this rotisserie for making fabulous, succulent chicken and duck. He's in charge of clean up and says that after three years, this baby still looks good as new thanks to diligent scrubbing.

Ronco FD1005WHGEN 5-Tray Electric Food Dehydrator Review

(More customer reviews)I bought the previous model of this dehydrator. I seriously would not even give this machine 1 star, but there is no lower rating. I bought mine a year ago, used it once, and the bottom heating element burned every single tray that I rotated to the bottom, which you have to do in order to get anywhere. The entire machine was worthless within a week of me owning it. I did eat the beef jerky, but that was the most expensive jerky I will ever make! I called immediately to complain, talked to a guy named Saul, who said the unit must be defective, DUH! and he would send me a new unit and a return authorization. I have gotten neither, I am just out the money. I have called back, faxed, mailed, waited on hold, and finally decided that Ronco products are CRAP. I will never give him or his company another cent. Buyers please research your purchases, I see from other reviews that I am not the only one with a complaint. Buy a different machine!
