(More customer reviews)While nothing will ever really replace the Cinderella-style of hands and knees scrubbing, this mop certainly is better than pulling out the regular mop and bucket of luke warm brown water.
It is sturdy enough and easy to assemble. its easy to use and does a great job of cleaning without chemicals. Sticky juice spills in the kitchen come up quickly and easily and the sanitizing feature is great for the area just in front of the bathroom toilet where men can never seem to avoid. lol.
The cord was plenty long enough for the rooms in my house, since I dont live in a mansion with huge rooms. And I was able to clean my kithen ceramic tile in less time than it took my husband to go outside and smoke a leisurly cigarette. The floor dried much faster than with regular mopping but I could see spots of dampness here and there when I was done so I am not sure how safe i would feel using it on hardwood floors.
The cons: it only comes with 2 reusable pads. So after the kitchen and bathroom I had to stop and wait for the wash before I could do the hall bath and the downstairs bath. Plus I felt I could redo the kitchen a 2nd time since the pad was so filthy the first time around. So you really do need to buy more pads.
Also, it does NOT do grout. If you have a spill in the grout lines the best you can do is 'sanitize' the spot (holding the mop there for 8 seconds) to loosen the dirt and then manually wiping clean with a rag or paper towel.
Finally, while the swivel head is easy to manever, it really does not get into corners all that well. And much like regular mopping, you have to sweep well or vacuum first or else you will just be pushing around crumbs or hair which will collect along baseboards and corners.
Since this is a great novelty mop, and since I love that I dont have to buy cleaners, I would definetely recommend this mop for people who like to keep their floors clean, and are sick of the mop and bucket style of cleaning. My floors are cleaner and I look forward to using it again when those stupid pads go through the wash again. lol.

Just fill up the removable container with water and go, no waiting as the last 2 mops did. The point on the mop helps it get into the corners. I use the steam because I have 4 animals and the steamboy cleaner leaves my floor sanitized without using chemicals.

(More customer reviews)I have a "faux" hardwood floor, and cats, which means extra amounts of dust & hair on the floor. When I bought this product, it seemed like the perfect solution for my situation. I used it for about a month before it broke. It was awesome until the part of the mop head that is "flexible" broke in half. It's a great idea but they need to reinforce the plastic or something so it will last a decent amount of time. I have written the company a letter of complaint and will update my review of this product if their response is something worth reporting.
*UPDATE*
I got a response from the company and was given an 800 number to call for customer service. I called and spoke to a very friendly person who asked me a few questions and then mailed me a coupon good for any product in their line up to the amount of what this one cost me. In this case, it was $10.00. I was also told that the company was redesigning this particular product and it would be out this summer. I went ahead and got one just like it to replace it and it looks like the design flaw is fixed. All in all, I am a satisfied customer and would give this product five stars if I could change it from my original two, but this site won't let me!!

(More customer reviews)Bought this floor care system after we installed laminate flooring in our kitchen and dining areas. We have 2 little boys (ages 2 and 4), and we live in our house, so we can have lots of little debris and small drips in our wake. The fluffy white dust mop attachment works great at gathering up even the littlest particles. It doesn't actually pick them up (which is why I say this is "almost perfect"), but you can push everything into a little pile very quickly and over a long distance. It does not leave anything in the micro-bevel edges of our laminate planks, either! I then use my dustbuster to finish the job. The blue microfiber cleaning pad works great with the spray. Just mist a light amount onto a section of the floor, and use the cleaning pad to clean up the sticky spots (think grape juice drips). It takes very little spray and it dries in seconds. I can clean my entire area from start to finish in under 10 minutes. Oh, and the very low-profile of the mop head means I can even get under the front of our range and fridge to get at whatever may have rolled under there! I also purchased a second dust pad and microfiber pad, and they're exact replicas of what comes in the kit. Don't know why some reviewers said they weren't the same as the originals...?

(More customer reviews)Having all hardwood and tile floors, I went on mission to find something convenient to clean with. I read dozens and dozens of reviews on every conceivable type of hard surface floor cleaner. There seems to be 2 complaints about this mop...short charge time, and it didn't get the floor "hands and knees" clean. Well, if you are that anal that you still mop on your hands and knees, more power to you! I wanted something that would clean the floor after a new puppy accident, grandchildren spills and tracked-in mud on a day to day basis. And this mop works great! I can clean all my floors twice on one charge (which is about 1600 square feet, so not huge), and as far as the complaint about the water not staying real hot, news flash, if you use a antibiotical cleaner, you don't need hot water. I have not had any streaks, it picks up all the water and leaves the floor just damp. Apparently, some buyers expected it to leave the floor totally dry...and just how would that be managed? Built in hair dryer? And no, it is not a vacuum; you have to broom sweep first. But who doesn't sweep before they mop?
For the money, I think it's a great answer to the problem. It is easy to fill, easy to empty, and easy to store. I would (and have) recommend it to family and friends. If I had any suggestion for improvement, it would be to lower the brushes about a 1/4 inch to get even better scrubbing action.
