Zutter Round-it-All / R5 Corner Rounder Tool Review

(More customer reviews)Having handles to give you mechanical leverage is nice. So is the ability to round the corner of several pieces of paper as the same time.
That was the good, now the bad. The cutter does not always cut all the way through thicker material or multi sheets. I found it very hard to line up more than one sheet when trim corners. The alignment tool and the cutter do not align and can not be adjusted. I get a 1/4" radius trim that is 1/8" from the corner on one side and 3/16" on the other side. Looks horrible, sorta like trimming the corner with scissors, but not quite straight.

Zutter Round-it-All / R10 Corner Rounder Tool Review

I make Magnetic signs for cars and trucks and before this I used to cut the corners by hand, not always very good. The R10 is perfect for this as the material is thick and the R10 cuts through it easily and it looks very professional. I love this!

(More customer reviews)This tool is fabulous! I've used it almost on a daily basis since it's so fun to do. It's easy to use and takes up so little space considering the time it saves not to mention wear and tear on the hands. I found it easiest to use by doing one or two sheets at a time, often times running them through twice for a more "tattered" look. I have noticed that it can take a "bite" out of the paper if you tend to put the corner in at an angle- but I like that look. SO it works for me. It does make a bit of noise but since it does not stay on it's not really a problem. I highly recommend this product.

Xyron 3404-33-00 Creatopia Border Patternz Border-Embossing Roller Cartridge, Stars, Xyron 3404-32-00 Creatopia Border Patternz Border-Embossing Roller Cartridge, Dots and Xyron 3404-36-00 Creatopia Border Patternz Border-Embossing Roller Cartridge, Scallop are the currently available offerings of embossing rollers that can be easily changed out on this cartridge.
The Xyron 3404-30-00 Creatopia Border Patternz Roller Cartridge Starter Kit with Bonus Floral Cartridge is part of the "Patternz" line of Xyron's Creatopia. Other lines include: Xyron Shapez (die cutting - available in 2010), Xyron Cutz and Xyron Refillz (laminating and adhesives). Each line adds a new crafting dimension to the Creatopia machine's versatility and all are simple to use. No heat is needed, and you are simply cranking a handle clockwise, feeding the paper through the machine to gain the desired effect.
This kit doesn't come with great instructions, nor does the Creatopia machine, but the rollers have a flat side as do the rods that they are seated on. Note that the flat sides are to the top and bottom of the cartridge as it is seated vertically in the machine. The curved side (where the paper will roll through) is to the center. Make sure the triangles on the rollers (on the side and very small) match up and you will be good to go.
Embossing worked best for me on heavy cardstock. The thinner the paper, the less evident the embossing. Frankly though, this is one of my favorite uses for the Creatopia machine and I hope they come out with more border rollers very soon!

It is the same as version 2, except version 2 can handle more pages at once for punching and can punch a longer seam without having to stop and measure. These machines are excellent tools for the scrapbookers. They are easy to use, easy to assemble and produce excellent results.
I have one small complaint. The machine, as is, does not work particularly well for tiny mini albums. To place the wire near the edge of mini album requires the purchase of an accessory. I believe this accessory should be included with the item.

SLICE MACHINE THINK PINK New Making Memories Design Kit Review

(More customer reviews)I found this on Amazon for half of the typical retail price of $175. It shipped to my house in just a few days! Unfortunately, the Slice has trouble cutting through thicker card stock, and some of the images are distorted no matter what type of paper I use. The Slice comes with two design cards, Basic Elements and Think Pink. The Basic Elements card became defective after just a few days of use and would no longer be recognized by my Slice, but I contacted the manufacturer Making Memories and they sent a replacement right out. I am excited to finally have a Slice! But it's important to know that this only cuts images up to 4 in high, so best to go with a different die cut machine if you need bigger images.
